In the spirit of 'Anniversary servers' - No Heroic lockouts for TBC

Thoughts? Since we are making minor changes for these anniversary servers and a very much sped up phasing cadence. What are the odds on TBC release, we remove the daily lockouts for 1 heroic dungeon per day. Just go ahead and make it unlimited heroic dungeons and maintain the 5 instances per hour cadence. IF TBC phases are going to be shortened as well.

This will increase the reputation grind, phase 1 pre-bis and bis gearing grind, and incentivize the grind for alts.

You can do more than 1 heroic dungeon a day in bc. You can run every n each of the dungeons in heroic mode once a day. That’s like 8-9 or something like that heroic dungeons a day.

I suspect you mean running the same heroic dungeon more than once a day which is a horrible idea. The raids n heroic dungeons lock are there to pace the game out. And what we have in BC is perfect.

Reading is hard huh.

Not if the phasing sequence is faster paced like the anniversary classic phases are. Hence the above statement in the OP.

And even if the TBC phases will remain at the standard pacing, the request still stands as the heroic cap of one run per heroic dungeon a day, was great if you was a tank or healer. But the amount of DPS far out number the amount of tanks and healers and is discouraging for dps trying to get their rep grinds in or heroic dungeon gear drops. Which also leads to refusing to take certain classes/armor types to groups.

Which is fine by me, I’ll be tanking and healing regardless. And is all subjective still whether the BC phases are also shortened or not.

It sounds good but people that play this game will just spam a dungeon until they get the rep they need and never go again because they’re so sick of it. Once a day will keep people interested and keep them bringing others who have yet to get to 70. I forsee many problems with the current player mindset and your idea. Still amenable to changes though
