In the House of Light and Shadow: I do to my class hall, I click on Lights Heart and my character channels the Tears of Elune like all my other characters have done, which brings up a loading screen after which I expect to see a cinematic.
Instead of the intended cinematic, I am seen falling in space till I die, at which point I am forced to release, and it takes me to what used to be the portal room near where the “pillars” are kept in Dalaran, I can’t get to my body up there in the nether, and I have to leave Dalaran to find a spirit healer to resurrect, once alive, I am ported back to the portal room, and the quest is not completed.
I have tried abandoning the quest, retaking the quest, and trying again, only to have this scenario repeat.

I came looking for a solution to this , but it seems it still have a problem, i just tried to complete this on this rogue , and encountered the same bug.
Use tear of elune > load screen > fall to death
Please , could someone at blizzard look into this … how did this break anyway!!!
I put in a ticket about this yesterday. I get there are some troubleshooting steps need to be done but like… I disabled all my addons, I abandoned and retaken the quest… and not to mention ever time I die I have to fall off Dalaran, then find some stupid spirit healer to get rez sickness then try again. I just want that stupid raven mount!!
I had this issue happen and the solution was to dismiss Koltira as my follower. Once I did this, I was able to complete the quest.

It seems as though this been has been out there for some time now as this just happened to me as well. The only difference is I am unable to find a spirit healer anywhere to resurrect. I tried going to a grave in Azuna and I couldn’t find a spirit healer at any of the graves. Also, if I clicked Return to Grave when out in Azuna, it sent me right back to Hall of the Guardian. I’ve just dismissed my follower and tried it again and this time it worked. Thank you to Jenlee for the suggestion!
What Jenlee said worked for me. Was having the same issue with my Rogue and after reading the comment I unassigned my follower.

I am going back for some druid appearances so completing my order hall after the fact… I tried completing this quest twice and I get stuck in the opening scene of the cinematic hovering in space.
Trick is to just wait a few minutes… then it will complete. At least on the second time for me.
