In the Future

I see they will make changes in the future, maybe even up to MoP or Classic+, many years down the road. I know this by sleeping with my tricorn covering my fac…I mean peering deep into my tricorn. /s

but real talk, I wouldn’t be surprised if they did either future xpacs or some Classic+ if the Classic project takes off and sells like hotcakes in the future.

I bet there won’t even be a tbc.

I expect WoW Classic will run for a year or two, then they’ll decide they don’t want to pay for the server upkeep.

I hope it sticks around and expands, but I do doubt it.

I am pretty sure they will announced TBC servers at Blizzcon. They know many people want it, with probably a bigger demand than for Vanilla (especially once Vanilla is released).

Plus, considering how terrible Blizzcon was last year with little to no exciting announcements, topping it off with the huge disappointment of Diablo Immortal they have to announce really good things this year… And not for the customers but for the shareholders.

TBC 2020 and Wrath 2021, you heard it here first.

How so? just look at pservers it’s almost not played at all…

In the future, we’ll all have jetpacks and there will be a terraforming colony on Mars.

Sorry, I’m just all out of answers for the OP. I don’t get why people are so obsessed with this question when Classic itself isn’t even out yet.

How about we just wait and see how Classic plays and how healthy the community is first.

I hope tbc then wrath come out. After that i hope they take wow in a different direction. Maybe a different timeline in terms of lore, and with a focus on a more classic design philosophy b4 the modernization of wow in regards to gameplay.
