Since 9.0.2 I think, the “Help” button is missing. It’s been replaced with “Support”.
The Help button is how you got to the ingame unstuck, and I can’t seem to figure out how. The support tab tells you that in order to ingame unstuck… to press “Help”… Which is gone.
Before you ask, no, I don’t want to go to Westfall, and no I do not want to Hearth.
For the record, I never have a Hearthstone item, I only use the toy. That way the unstuck feature will always kill me, allowing me to just die anywhere. That’s why I want the unstuck feature.
No, there’s not a command that works. And no, I can’t just delete my character and start from scratch.
It seems to have been replaced by a “move character” option that is 9 times more complicated, and involves kicking you off the server, then making you wait for an actual live staffer to get around to coming and helping you. Which means that, if it’s on par with ticket response time, getting stuck in game or stuck in combat could result in having to wait 24hours for a solution. WTF Blizz? How could you possibly think this was an improvement?
Yep… you scroll down and it’s there. Now try actually USING it. They changed the process. You don’t just die and port to graveyard. They kick you off the server, and you have to wait for staff to come and fix the problem, and e-mail you telling you it’s fixed. This is not a functional “unstuck” button. This means up to 24 hours before you can play the character.
Wasn’t what? An exaggeration, or slow? Today, it’s slow, and “unstuck” has become a giant bureaucratic process. No idea what’s up with that, but it seems a seriously bad solution to something that wasn’t broken to begin with.
He said the support button was there today, it wasn’t yesterday.
If I had to use one of my guesses I would say Blizz noticed players were using “stuck” to teleport to the entrance of instances after getting to the end and were like It could be them trying to make instance botting more annoying but I would imagine a person using bot software would have some kind of hackery way to get around it but maybe it’s easier for Blizz to detect those hacks than it is for them to detect bot hacks so they can ban faster I dunno.
No matter what their reason is, having to wait for customer service to move your character OR hearth if it’s off CD and run back to where you were is a very unpleasing solution to regular players.
