Looking for locations that stand out to use as backgrounds for screenshots. I am open for any suggestion, including dungeons or raids. I use Tom-tom, so if you can also include coordinates that would be fabulous.
Just an example, I already have screenshots of the worlds in the Star Augur Etraeus fight from Nighthold. Also have the storms from Maw of Souls, and the clouds from Outlands Nagrand.
I greatly appreciate any suggestions. Thank you in advance!

I can stand in for some of your screenshots, those will all be keepers.
Most of the rooms in Karazhan would make great screenshots, especially if you go on with a rogue and leave all the mobs up.
you could try outside of magisters terrace
pretty much anywhere in suramar
The strand of shore in the north of Eversong Woods is gorgeous if you need beach/sea backgrounds. If I ever need space-y photos, I go to Outland’s Hellfire Peninsula. A lot more going on in the sky than just clouds - it feels like galaxies are swirling there.
Crystalsong Forest and Suramar are two areas with a lot of fantasy elements. If you need a “majestic” hall which has church-like elements, I would suggest going to the Sanctum of Light’s long lobby with the altar. It has warm tones.
Good luck with your photography. It is a pastime I engage in often wherever I go in WoW.
Uhmm… May I suggest Dread Wastes? Despite people hating that place I really like all the blue.
Thank you for the quick responses. I wish I could share some of my screenshots with you directly onto this forum. I’m going to check these places out as soon as I can.
I was going to suggest getting a potion of inky darkness from Darkmoon Faire, but it just ended. Have to wait three more weeks, or see if some gougers are selling them on AH. Works really well for places with intricate lighting, like some mentioned, in Suramar. Adds a super starry, really dark skybox, and darkens the surroundings.
You can get out of the boss room and still have the skybox effects triggered in the rest of Nighthold if you stay above a certain point (the boss room is pretty high up), which is kinda neat. I totally forgot how I learned that or exactly how it’s done though. Boss does not have to be in combat IIRC. Purple planet/void background is the default, yeah? So that’s what you’d be getting.
Worth noting that there’s more than just the planet thing going on in the background when that effect is active. Don’t really see it in the boss room.
Honestly this was the first thing that came to mind when I started reading your post, then I saw you mentioned the boss specifically and that was kinda weird.
Edit: I mained a Shadow MS / Holy OS Priest at the time, so it couldn’t have been anything super duper crazy to do. Slow Fall at worst.
Edit: Found a really bad screenshot that was more about “oh hey look at that” than framing a shot, I guess it was just the planet, but might still be interesting if you can get a decent shot with it looming over the city, not sure what angles you can get though:

OH OH OH I JUST REMEMBERED A NEAT SPOT!
Do the Battle for Lordaeron scenario. The thing at the very beginning of BfA. I don’t know if you can replay that or if you’d need to do it on an alt, but still, there’s a spot off to the far right side where everything is burning, and it has fog come in before you hit the zone boundary, kinda like, say, the Theramore scenario does.
But the fire/smoke + that boundary fog makes for a really neat place to get some silhouette shots. Here’s a couple examples:

Not a fan of how the shaman spell graphic is off-center in that last one, but just an example showing that spell graphics can stand out since they’re not affected by the silhouette lightning as much.
(Edit: Added an example for the previous post too)
Also, here’s the backdrop in the Fenrir portion of Trial of Valor, back in Legion. Very pretty, not sure how much you could fit while also focusing on your character, but maybe worth looking into:
