Love is in air! With the kick off of February, I was thinking about in game marriage.
Please allow two player characters to get married in game. They would enter into a contract to solidify their marriage.
The contract would give them access to a shared bank, shared repair costs, shared gold from sales on the AH, as well as other financial benefits.
One of the great perks to being married could be reduces fees (taxes) on in game costs. Such as: reduced transmog, reduced listing fee, etc.

When I was new to WoW, way back when in the Burning Crusade, I was leveling a Night Elf Druid. I wandered into Darnassus and on top of the arch at the Eastern City Gate was a guild doing an in-game RP marriage! The couple had recently gotten married IRL and not everyone in the guild could attend so they hosted an in-game wedding to celebrate with their friends.
I like this idea of linking accounts for married couples. I just wonder what the loopholes would be to unlink the accounts if the couple separated.

Go back to final fantasy you can get your wishes done there
They would have to go before a judge in Stormwind and properly divide assets.
I’ve got to witness a few RP weddings and it was always very cool to see
If you played maplestory back in the day and remember how lit the in game marriage ceremony was… you peaked as a teen

The one thing that blizzard has always done best, is steal other people’s ideas and make them better.
I’m confident that they can do it even better here!

Are the characters, specifically, getting married or are the accounts?

With warbands coming, it’d have to be the accounts I imagine.
