When playing the game regardless of which character is selected, (Trueheart is a low level character-I have a mage at level 117) no items are highlighted anywhere in the game making it nearly impossible to find anything to play the game properly. This problem started right after I upgraded to “Battle for Azeroth”. The only thing that indicates an item is to be selected is a “sparkly” effect of upward drifting tiny stars at the items location. The same thing also occurs after killing an enemy to loot them. I took a screenshot to show this effect and sent it to customer service. Too bad images can’t be uploaded here. Strangely, the “sparkly” effect was not captured and I had to insert it into the image using photoshop. The problem was NOT corrected when resetting the UI nor scanning and repairing the game. Fortunately, I have a pretty good eye and the person whom I often play with directs me to the proper locations (They dont have a problem). I’ve submitted tickets, I’ve submitted bug reports. Still waiting on a solution.

I solved the problem myself… Turns out, it was remarkably easy.
I hit the escape key, brought up the menu, went to System settings> Graphics> Outline mode.
Outline mode was disabled. I enabled it.
I went and took a look in the game and Presto Chango as if by magic, everything in the game that should be highlighted was highlighted.
Problem solved.
