Having issues with in-game freezing. Brand new laptop, everything’s up to date afaik after checking for multiple updates. Tried lowering graphic settings as well.
Game will freeze periodically, along with sound clipping for a few seconds before returning to normal. There’s no latency issues, just a graphical freeze. Ranges from not very often, maybe once every 10 mins, to once or twice every 2 minutes. Other applications will work as normal, it’s just only WoW in-game.
Any help would be appreciated, or if this helps to resolve similar issues in the future.

A few things to look at:
Driver Date/Size: 7/4/2020 4:00:00 PM, 1038352 bytes
A new laptop does not come with updated drivers since it’s been sitting in a warehouse waiting to be shipped and sold, so you’ll need to manually address that with the GeForce experience app. Make sure to use the “Clean install” function (custom install).
Drive: C:
Free Space: 8.0 GB
Total Space: 121.5 GB
To perform optimally, roughly 15% of the drive needs to be kept free. In this case, that would be ~19GB. This space is used for the page file (quick access of processing you’re doing) and not having enough space for it will cause intermittent freezing and lockups.
You may be able to regain space through the Windows Disk Cleanup tool. It can remove old logs and defunct Windows install files after updates are applied to the operating system. Your report says some updates are waiting to be applied, so clean first, update, then clean again.
Problem signature:
P1: OverwolfUpdater.exe
Don’t let this add-on app run in the background while you’re playing.
I hope this info helps.
I’m having this exact issue.
Thank you for the info! Had to move some things around to the HDD, so load times are (inevitably) slower but the freezing has ceased for now!
