Whats the most in demand spec or class right now? Been seeing almost every guild in need of hunters but i feel like i remember them being one of the most played classes.
Im coming late to tbc due to hc so thats why i ask now.

Resto shaman and it’s not even close. If you go resto shaman you will have a guild the next day.

DPS shaman (especially enhancement) are right behind resto shaman, if you prefer one of those.
was tryna stay away from sham altogether this time around due to purely maining it last tbc. Enh was fun, i might roll surv hunter. Seems that quite a few guilds need that spot filled so
Shaman (any spec)
Druids (any spec)
Paladin (Protection for 5-mans, Holy or lolRet for raids)
Easier to ask what isn’t in-demand:
- Hunters (trillions of 'em)
- Mages (billions of 'em)
- Rogues (millions of 'em, no utility outside of Improved Expose Armor)

Agree its Shamans pretty much any spec and you can stack them. Two other needed classes that are under played are Spriest and Boomkins.
Hunter, Locks and Mage are in plenty as people want to play the ez big dps classes.
Surv hunter is needed a lot in guilds but generally speaking when a guild is looking for a surv hunter, they are looking for an already established survival hunter. Maybe you can find a guild no problem just letting you know this is generally what happens. Where as other specs like boomkin/shaman they don’t really care what your gear is and they just feed you loot.
Shaman in general. Resto is high, elementals posting for a guild get swarmed, enhance won’t have an issue finding a guild either. There is no other class needed as bad as shaman. With the change to lust being raid wide I think a lot of people thought the demand would be lower. The issue is that every guild needs 4-5 of them for totems and their ridiculous healing ability. P1 priests really shined and many guilds were solo healing kara and 3 healing 25s so that cut down the demand for restos. That ends today and resto stocks are to the moon.
