I’m missing something… quest chain completed, dragon girl empowered the forge, Essence still rank 1. No apparent quest or anyone to talk to about getting rank 2 and the forge doesn’t show any difference.
Did you get the dragon scale? Maybe it is in your bag?
Oh it is… why is it a physical object lol.
For some reason they decided that we had too much bag space so they started putting quest objective items back in. It really is kind of annoying with all the stuff you have to carry around from Mechagon.

I’m having some issues with this quest although they are not the same ones. I can’t pick up the quest, Kalec is not in the Chamber of Heart. I do not have the quest in my log or the essence in my bag. I’m level 58 so I should be able to do this quest but no Kalec. I put in a ticket but I have this fear that the GM is just going to say wait for the developer to fix or it’s working as intended even though the only pre-req is your neck be at level 54, which it is and I have rank 1.

Any updates on this? I’m having the same issue (all pre-reqs complete, no quest in the chamber - in fact, not even the NPC is there and nothing on my bags…)
Me too. Sometimes I dream in Emerald.
You have to finish the quest from Magni in Nazjatar first, then Kalec will have the quest.

What f’n quest… would be nice if you mention a generic thing like a quest… maybe it would help someone if you included the Name of the quest…

The quests come at different neck levels, I forgot exactly when but 38 is a little low for them. Pretty sure its 50, 55, 60, 65 but not 100% sure, I forget things pretty quickly.
I hadn’t picked up the next part of the quest in Temple of Elune because there was no breadcrumb quest. I just happened to notice it while I was in the Legion garison.
