In Certain Zones, I am unable to join global chat channels

Like 1. General Chat or 3. LocalDefense.

So far, the only zones I notice this happening are Nagrand (Old) and Highmountain.

Any suggestions for a fix?

First thing to try is /resetchat and see if that works. If no, then do a full UI reset.

Also try /join General and /join LocalDefense

I seem to rember that back during WOD tha OL nagrand was constantly bugged for chat not just me others had the same issue best to post in bug forums.

Zone chats down?

That’s a known bug. It’s not always constant, but certain zones will sometimes have their chat channels fail, preventing chat while out there. In some cases a server reset causes it to recover. Devs are working on it either way.
