I am trying to get really into my Spriest but do not understand one thing. What actually triggers apparitions to spawn? Is it SWP crit only? Will someone please give me the simple explanation? I would be really grateful!
every time u use devouring plague and mind blast you spawn a shadow apparition to attack every one who has vampiric touch rolling on them
I am not seeing them.
Can we assume your spriest has actually learned the ability yet? I only ask you’re on your monk. The tooltip for the ability says exactly what triggers them. Other than spell detail being on the lowest setting (?) I can’t see why else you’d not see them.
Actually my priest is 60. Going to spend some time on the dummy to work it out .

Enemies need Vampiric Touch on them. Without Vampiric Touch, you will not spawn any apparitions whatsoever.
Apparitions only appear when you cast Mind Blast, Void Bolt, or Devouring Plague.
If you crit with Mind Blast or Void Bolt, it will cast 2 apparitions per target instead of 1.
If ur doing all of this and not seeing any, check ur damage log. If it’s not showing up there, send a ticket in.
