The notes say it operates out of the game space. IMO the eagle should be visible with the player. It can have several animations when moving or walking such as perched on the players shoulder, flying around them, sitting on the ground…Multiple different way for this. Then when in combat it can fly around the target or group and swoop down to do it’s abilities. I think actually seeing the eagle constantly would add way more flavor and you could add appearances such as feathers and any kind of armor for the eagle.
I think the idea the Devs have with the eagle benefits me greatly. Our source of lust cant be killed and our myriad of current pet utility cant be killed in 11.1. MM gets a much more potent MS and intimidation without LoS or travel time implications in 11.1. Even if someone doesnt like the visual implications of losing their currently killable and CCable pet, 11.1 is adding so much quality of life changes it should be real hard to complain.
