Improved Sprint

Improved Sprint is supposed to “remove all Movement Impairing effects when you activate your Sprint ability,” but if you’re slowed by, say, Thunder Clap or Cripple, it will give you about 1 second of sprint without removing the debuff and then you will be slowed again. I’m not sure if this is a bug or if I am not understanding the ability correctly. Does anyone know better?

I know it breaks roots and nova, but it’s not a FAP. So reapplication will snare you.

It’s a great talent unless you can afford to FAP a lot.

It doesn’t prevent further movement impairing effects. It just removes the ones you have at the time. There are some effects that can be reapplied pretty rapidly.

It doesn’t remove those debuffs I mentioned and others I’m sure. They stay on you and re-slow you after a moment.

it just breaks the ones currently on you, it doesn’t make you invunerble the entire sprint it’s very good imo but there are rogues that don’t get it. I use it simply cuz It makes the best use of my points as it’s mostly a pve spec which i also run in pvp so this helps me a little bit

It “breaks” Thunder Clap and Cripple slows for a second without removing the debuff, then you get slowed again (by the same debuff). Isn’t it just supposed to remove it?

Weird that I can’t find any other posts about this. Only about Daze, which I know it doesn’t remove.

It work fine for me. Also thunder clap dont slow your movement speed in classic.

NPC debuff, not the players version.

I wonder if it’s because it has another component like reducing my attack speed?

Could be, like a persistent dot that has an effect that the player can dispel but doesn’t remove the other effect.

Makes me curious if that the snare applies every few seconds across the application, and if so is it intended?
