Improved Imp(Fire Shield)

I noticed over the last few days, that my Rank 3 Fire Shield says it’s supposed to deal 12 damage when an attacker hits. The correct damage is 9 with just the base spell, but I have 30% damage increase on Fire shield with the Improved Imp talent, which should result in 12 damage when hit. While the tooltip is correct, the actual damage that is reflected is only 9, which is incorrect if you have the improved imp talent.

Im having a similar problem with this talent i need the extra stamina from improved imp i should be getting 30 +30% which is 39 which the imp is getting but i and my party only get 30

Yup! Just checked it out. My party and I are supposed to be getting 35 stamina from Blood Pact, but we only get 27. Firebolt is supposed to deal 64 to 73 damage, but only does around 54-60 unless it’s a critical strike.

Hopefully they fix it before we have to spend gold to undo our talents. I’d like to see this fixed as Imp can be pretty decent for 5 mans.

Same issue here. Tried respec. Doesnt fix the issue.

Also noticed with another warlock in the group his blood pact was not affecting me at all. No icon. Nothing.

Tried the other way around and they got the buff (albeit without the 30% from talents)

Frustrating. Also would like the spent talents used elsewhere now but extra gold and raising the cap further … :frowning:

Are you checking your HP to be sure or just the Buff?

In Vanilla the buff would be applied as it should but the tooltip when mousing over the buff (not the ability) wouldn’t say the increased stamina amount. Check to see how much your HP goes up and down when applying the buff.

You’re right man. Its adding correct HP … thanks a bunch!

Now need to test this on the fire shield ability but assuming its the same ??

Yeah I remember there was an addon to fix the tooltips in vanilla to reflect the updated damage from buffs and spelldamage and such. Forget what it was called.
