It is always a frustration to cast Rebirth or Innervate while playing Feral due to it shifting you out of cat form. As it stands our Feline Adept passive allows Soothe and Remove Corruption to be cast in cat form unlike Guardian’s Ursine Adept which includes Rebirth and Innervate.
I would like to see an “Improved Feline Adept” talent (could be another name, not very creative) added to the druid tree to grant Feral Rebirth and Innervate in cat form again. While I would prefer parity with Guardian’s version I will take spending a talent point when I feel it is valuable.
There is precedence for this kind of ability modifying talent in our tree already with Improved Stampeding Roar, Typhoon’s dedicated improvement node (Gale Winds/Incessant Tempest), Tiger Dash, Improved Swipe, and Protector of the Pack.
I believe this talent could be placed in a few places.
- Replace Tireless Pursuit (I just don’t see the value in this talent personally)
- Be added as a node option with Improved Stampeding Roar
- A 3rd branch under/besides Astral Influence (I like this one the best)
