Well I most likely would not (and did not) assume your friendship level would be boosted. Especially for the reasons you mention that the jellies are tradeable and sellable.
Ya, I just noticed this too, doing the quests through the zones adds a lot of rep toward your grind.

This rep does not work for the legion fishing NPCs…sadness. The buff is rather misleading.

They announced this was coming days ago, you should have waited.
Bask in the accomplishment of knowing you succeeded without help, and be happy for those that don’t have to climb the mountain you did. In other words, empathy.

What is the cause of it not being active at Daily Reset? Many of use have limited play time and missed out on rep due to it not being active at the start of the reset?
Might be speaking for myself on this one idk. just a little salty about missing rep due to my playing schedule.

I went from 10732 to 10882 after earning 150 rep form a turn in, so clearly not 300…

For the first time, me coming back to wow is finally worth it. I can finally unlock flying 
and unlock all the allied races.

Actually a pretty bad hot take. This is for helping people get allied races. Also, “pretty worthless”? Doubling the speed for getting Paragon caches is actually super lucrative.
I don’t seem to be getting the reputation bonus buff on one of my toons…
The others it works fine.

I was under the impression that with the new expansion release, people wouldn’t have to grind out reputation to play Allied races.
