I have tried to farm 3 different spirit family hunter pets (because I need just one) but everywhere I go there are multiple hunters camping the spawns and they aren’t even on my realm!
Like come on this is so lame
It has gotten to the point where I saw a hunter rare spawn and as a guy was taming it the other hunter shot and killed it cause he got mad.
The way to ease this up back in the day was to hit a non-CRZ’ed server like ED or WA and the rares were usually easier to find.
Least that’s how I got Loque.
CRZ makes it easier… get a friend on kirin tor, have them invite you and go get your pet. I have tamed Loque on 6 different hunters this way, with no camping.
The purple cats in Suramar and surrounds are all spirit beasts.
Myonix is a very easy tame. It is a quest mob and respawns in less than 30 seconds.

Why does everyone want spirit beasts?
Is it because of the heal?
There is no such thing anymore.
The wee hours of the morning are the best time for camping rare spawns.
Hate to tell you this mate, ED and WrA are CRZ’d with all the lower pop RP servers. I see them all the time in current and non current content.
Corehounds are better. Ferocity pet with two tanking abilities, the 10/15% leech outweighs 5/7% increased health pool + the spirit heal for both you and the pet.
Well whatever hit one that’s not CRZ’ed.
When I was taming Loque on my ED hunter there was no CRZ in Sholazar.
I didn’t have a friend on KT, but I basically dual-boxed to do this and it was a cinch. I had to log in to my Kirin Tor character first, and then on to my hunter and invite from the KT character, but once I got everyone over to the location in question, there was the rare pet, just meandering around, not a soul in sight. Tamed with zero issues. Mal’Ganis’ CRZ is laughable. I’ll never tame anything rare over there, war mode on or off. I’m a FT employed dad with 2 kids, one is a 3 month old baby. There is no late-night camping.

Still very frustrating. Spawn timers set for a single server’s population, now there are hunters from many servers all cramped in the same shard.
CRZ is nice for questing as there are fewer and fewer players out in the world questing, so it makes the world feel full, but there’s just as many hunters from every server still farming pets. Only now we have several or dozens of servers worth of hunters farming the same 1 pet on a 12 hour timer, or what have you.
Rares are never up. On top of that, some of these rare pets have multiple spawn locations, so I can’t even camp a spot if I wanted to. So dumb.
