Impositions Quest: (Spoilers from 10.5.)

Just to check was it a level 70 warlock you tried on?

Ive done it myself

Its probably because its incomplete and ends suddenly.
You beat the dreadlord, the lightforged walks off and kneels down, and thats it. No more quests
They say the warlock customisation will be in a later ptr update so im assuming the rest of the questline will be too.

He is a lightforged
I typed out that quote a few hours after the ptr came out (linking to verify the screenshot)

The explanation isnt the best considering that all the destruction and ruin his people have faced is due to the exact thing he now learning.
But hey, its what theyve gone with

I saw in the post image that he was, but I know Junzo mentioned Oman’s words fit a regular one better. Which is why I said personally I think the LF has more connection to it, seeing as how it’s him and his people who were left behind everytime Velen planet jumped.

TRUE but in WoW Elves turned to Shadow and Fel after it messed them up to “study and use it’s power against the forces that use it themselves” so I could see the base logic in it.

Yeah, but it could just have been broken for me on the PTR, or they could be doing active edits to it, who knows. PTR is weird, lol.

I couldnt be bothered to go back and try the questline again on a new character, but i went back to where it ended and took a screenshot of the kneeling lightforged if it helps

Oooh, noice mog. Also, he looks really cool. I’m hoping we finally get other eye colors for Draenei and LF based on that guy having green eyes.

I also wonder if Night Elves will get a green eye too, like the Nightborne, because I feel like that green color would go great with a Druid, lol.

its possible i went a little overboard and took many screenshots of the questline. (album might be back to front)

Lord Banehollow of the Shadow Council being the one whom Silas Darkmoon made his deals with is quite interesting to say the least.

The fact that Silas’s deals are infact to clear out before Lord Banehollow shows up with his Demons and Dupes shows how scared of interference Lord Banehollow is.

He was frightened and vengeful ever since we offed him in Cataclysm Launch. Interesting how he reformed quickly enough by the last major Patch of Cataclysm to strike a deal with Silas Darkmoon in exchange for lending him Darkmoon Isle for one week of every month.

Yeah, well. Pardon my french but the “community” is comprised of first rate idiots. Don’t bother with action, or do. Whatever gets you through the day I suppose, or makes you feel something. I mean, it doesn’t rightly matter anyways since I won’t be here to give two craps. I resubbed to FFXIV.

At least there, like Nintendo and Legend of Zelda they actually care about their lore. Still it was fun Blizzard. Good luck to you. Will perhaps check in someday, assuming that Microsoft actually does something about your cavalier mistreatment of the lore and customers who only raise concerns about the lore being ignored or run over roughshod.

Either way, done with this toxic business relationship for the time being.

Tears of the Kingdom says hello…

Nintendo cares nothing for Lore. They care about Gameplay and yes Gameplay includes names and artwork though clearly not Lore as far as they are concerned.

They have a Master Timeline they rearrange again and again and ignore as they see fit. Honestly it seems as if said Master Timeline is merely an Encyclopedia to grab References from.

It allows them to bring back old Characters and Enemies along with Locations but the actual Continuity is meaningless to Nintendo and is just some side project.

I thought the whole quest was a blast plus the banehollow fight was fun at lvl 57.

Look

You guys are just major el-grumpos.

It had to be said. Lighten up!

Also looking forward to Oman becoming a major lead character and fighting along side him in a future xpac.

Now I know why Sargeras did what he did.

grumpies!

I think having played the full thing, I would of been fine if Oman had been a regular Draenei. The conclusion they penned was alright and Oman’s character wound up being decent enough post Booty Bay. However I still think Lightforged Draenei was still a bridge too far, ditto with Mag’har Orcs.

Zandalari Warlocks and Draenei Locks make sense. Other two not much if any.

Also why in the heck did the forums tell me someone ‘just’ replied to this? Good grief.
