Thoughts on this? Especially for deserters.
I was in my 14 HOV with 7 min left. We wiped on God-King Skovold. The healer said, “I’m only here to time keys” and quit. Who does that?

With 10% health left on boss the tank didn’t pick up the shield…
Especially when you can negate his charge
I think you should lose IO from wiping to Skovold.

Isn’t there like 2 mins of RP before skovold, and then another 1.5 mins before odyn? Thats 3 mins of just RP. If you had 7 mins left at skovold and you wiped, you weren’t timing the key at that point, not on tyrannical. I am not saying the healer was right in leaving because completing a 14 still getting a 14 done. Hell I spent 25 mins over time trying to complete a 15 NO because the last boss is cancer with thundering and explosive. I’m just saying he had a point.
Right, but what’s the point of leaving that close to completion? It’s not like your IO score drops if you don’t time. Completion is still a chance at loot.

IO is a measure of experience.
You cannot unexperience something you’ve experienced.
If you don’t want people leaving your keys, stop sucking.

It’s because of the raiderio website. They don’t want a “blemish” on their record. In their mind, if you have a “blemish” then you wont ever get invited to high keys ever again because you didn’t time one here or there.

people do it all the time. It’s fine even if it annoys me sometime. Sometimes finishing isn’t worth the effort.

How about you join keys that state completion, instead of Standard and Beat Timer.
I don’t join keys that say “Completion”.

Many of us don’t care about loot.
If you want no leavers, specify no leavers.
I would argue most players in your key range and higher are looking to time, so you should be the one to mark groups as “completion” and not the other way around.
In either case, anyone could have picked up the shield if they noticed the tank didn’t.

keys are so plentiful. It doesn’t matter if one bricks for one reason or another. Sometimes, it’s also my fault.
Get into key, first pull goes badly, group disbands 
No one really cares.
