Imp pet not casting Fire Shield automatically with autocast

Level 60, tested it by toggling Fire Shield autocast, in phase shift, outside of phase shift, on self, on party members, etc.

Under no circumstance does the imp autocast Fire Shield.

I see other people’s imps do it. Mine will do it manually with the keybind, but will not autocast it.

I only trained the last rank of Fire Shield (with the grimoire) skipping all previous ranks - perhaps that has something to do with it.

Very annoying and decreases the usefulness of the imp. Please help.

The imp only autocasts fire shield if a party member is taking damage within range. Have you thoroughly tested this scenario? It won’t passively buff people up, only reactively.

I have noticed the same problem. The past few times I’ve ran Mara I’ve had to manually cast fire shield on my tank. The problem was not solved by disabling and reenabling auto cast as well as resummoning my imp.
