Immersion & ideas

Player Housing: 1. Common building or room with a private maybe expandable storage area similar to a bank in each faction controlled city & outlying areas? / 2.
Instanced building or room that allows a player to enter their “house”. and party members or guild members. / 3 Separate building or room with a lockable door that only the player has a key to but other players can enter when the door is open. / 4 Private area (instanced or not) that allows “furnishing”. Wall items (murals, paintings, wall hangings, etc.) Floor items (carpets, rugs, stains, etc.) Non-container furniture (chairs, sofas, tables, etc.) Container Furniture (cabinets, chests, shelves, Wardrobes, etc.) Miscellaneous stuff (books, bottles, candles, papers, scrolls, etc.) A soulbound item similar to a Hearthstone that transports you to your house. / Immersion:Day & Night cycles for the npcs more realistic interactions such as npcs talking sitting down asking about rumors I.E (hinting at dailies secret locations in Azeroth easter egg locations??? Profession rewards transmogs & quests & items you can also possibly get from them to furnish your house & mounts? e’ve had Garrison’s and currently we have a class hall, are we ever going to get a guild hall? If executed right it could solve a lot of problems we have currently with dieing guilds and increase the interaction of players.

  • Increase the amount of people doing guild events and wanting to join guilds and decreasing the dependence of lfg/lfr by creating a mission board for guild members to accept quests together to kill a certain boss in a dungeon or raid or collect a certain amount of items or item as a 5-10-25-40 man raid/dungeon group. Prizes could vary from mounts, toys, decent gear/appearances, etc.
  • have stands inside or buildings outside that, for example, increase reagent collection or quantity gained. Materials needed to upgrade could be gold and/or the reagents pertaining to that stand/building
  • have an inn to create a nice area for guildmates to chill and talk as well as a hearth to increase the use of the guild hall.
  • have an auction house and bank which will increase the use of the guild hall as well as interactions in the guild. can be unlocked through gold/some currency or reagent
  • Have an arena of some kind In our outside the guild hall so guild mates can PvP against each other. Unlockable through certain amount of honor points.
  • have some of the big guys hanging around like khadgar, jaina, some classic gnomes/dwarves.
  • a smithery unlockable from reagents/gold
  • maybe a stables to unlock/keep mounts/pets earned by guild achievements for aesthetics.
  • have the gnome that sells the spider mount pop in every once and a while or someone/something similar
  • class/profession trainers
  • areas for classes (though I think this would make em too big and cause diversity so maybe as a final update for the guild hall later in the game)
  • and of course a mailbox and place for hunters to keep their pets.
Maybe a possible Netflix series to pull in a wider audience aswell as increase revenue ?
    Other suggestions / thoughts?

Let me tell you about your personal player housing;

Garrisons.

The description amounts to a small capital city (better in some ways) that needs a key to enter it. Many people just hung out in the Garrisons during WoD and city activity suffered. Not a RP expert, but I would imagine all that would be left to interact with in any city would be the NPCs.

There’s actually a community council thread about this you can like and share

TBF, Garrisons are not a fair comparison to player housing. Also the Alliance garrisons were not half bad, and are used by the rp community still today.
