How to get rid of it ? Is it permanent ?
You’ll need to wait for the daily reset for it to go away. (Which is at 8AM PDT.)
You will have a limited amount of stuff you can do each day in the Maw. If you’re focused on the questing, try to avoid any of the extra events in the zone to minimize the attention you get from the eye.
Once you get to a certain point in the Korthia (Chains of Domination) storyline, you’ll chase off the Eye of the Jailer disabling the mechanic for that character and from that point on you’ll be able to quest in the Maw freely.
