Delves are awesome. I can go in there and kill stuff and get loot lol!! Seriously though as a solo player this is a wonderful thing.
I do have 1 worry though… There are folks who do heroic and mythic content in group format we all know that! My worry is they will start tweaking the delves based on those type of players comments and suggestions. Possibly with an outcome that makes them even harder for us true solo players!
Hey i respect all of you who can do that content btw. I wish i could and ive tried but i have health issues and stuff and i do what i am capable of. I certainly wouldnt wanna be the one to make an entire group fail if u know what i mean!
- to me a solo player is someone who doesn’t do high end group content at all (unles your in one of those friendship groups and ur sole purpose is to die and let the uber team kill final boss so u can get a mount lol-thank you to those groups btw), only groups if its the only way to advance a quest , faction rep etc etc (ie-holiday achieves,storylines) or World Bosses. Also other solo players may define a solo player differently but to me thats what it means.

they’re boring, take forever to do, feels like hitting the training dummy with a little loot at the end.
i’m sure a bunch of people are going to come in and be like “they only take me 5 minutes”
well i’m averaging over 800kdps in them and sure if you’re doing 18 million dps you’re clearing them in 5 minutes, fine, i’m just not as good as you are.
I think Warbands are the best feature. I’m not mad at delves, but they don’t feel as fun as M+ or Raid L, imo. Kind of a chore to get heroic gear in vault before M+ came out. Zekvir is pretty cool, just wish more of the delves were that instead of a bunch of reused mechanics/bosses amongst them. By S3/4 it’s going to probably feel pretty stale.
This is my favorite part. On my main I do heroic raiding and M+ up to whatever level gives me the teleports, most seasons. But I also level at LEAST one character of every single class for fun, to see how their gameplay evolves from expansion to expansion, and to enjoy the content they have to offer.
And while my main has a set group of people I play with, and I usually get an alt or two into some mid-level M+ or alt raids with this group, I absolutely LOVE having a mode where I can take my second- or third-tier alts and just play with their kit and talents in an environment where enemies won’t just die instantly to my overpowered allies, and where those enemies present more danger to me than practicing rotations on a target dummy.
It’s a perfect mode for casually playing alone for 20-30 minutes and being rewarded for it, ESPECIALLY on my dps alts (since I’m a healer 99% of the time and dps queues/LFG is maddening to me)

There is no timer and it gives decent loot! It’s wonderful and you can get a candle hat or mushroom hat.

Well i can promise you it takes me way longer than 5 minutes! I did a level 8 a few days ago… ummm i think it took around 30 minutes or so?? That was on a hunter (BM Hunter) with an IL under 600 (i dont recall what my actual il on that hunter is rn)
I do however get where your coming from. Someday maybe i can say it only took 5 minutes lol!! Doubtfull of thaat though…
They take me around a half hour too. I dance around stuff I don’t need in order to unlock the treasure room quicker. That way, I can go back through and get all the Brann xp goodies I left behind, without having to worry about anything that could potentially lead to a plundered treasure room.
I tried a T11 last night. I was not prepared. Not even sure if I’ll be able to get that one done before end of season. We’ll see I guess.

That’s great advice, never considered that!
I was just always clearing, but I like dungeon crawls so it didn’t bother me exploring up front thru mobs.

Not perfect by any means but I can be patient with this content since this is Blizzard’s first time tackling it and pushing it as endgame. I look forward to seeing how this mode expands throughout the updates.

Delves are just as boring and tedious as Island Expeditions, Torghast, and Horrific Visions. i think the only reason people are more excited about Delves is because they reward better loot. but incremental bumps in ilvl alone doesn’t keep people interested. i bet the popularity of Delves is going to plummet over the next month or two.
Yes please! Oh and 2 runes per run is a bit insulting. Something like 5 or 6 would make more sense per the time required.

Singlehandedly the best addition to the game ever. I hope they improve the system over time as I do think it needs a little bit of work. But it is so nice to finally have a gearing path of my own where I do not have to rely on others.
This community is awful as is, I don’t play WoW to interact with anyone, I play it to enjoy its setting, game world, the races, and classes, etc. But not the people. I imagine that’s weird to some but it should not be a requirement to have to interact with others on any game including MMOs.

Agree. Super easy to get 8 tier 8 delves filled into the vault just spamming zevkir.
Didn’t do a single m+ or normal+ raid this season and soloed zevkir ?? in under an hour with no consumables.
I hope solo progression is here to stay
I’d be interested in SOD if they were to continue it forward like regular classic and do a TBC SoD and so on .
