Imagine, you’re a 35-40 year old NEET Arena booster and Arena is finally dead

I’m sure Pika makes twice as much as I do… for now. My income will always be there

My PM job is semi-conductor. So I’m also collecting a 7100.00$ a month per diem on top of my salary. You can make killer money

always wondered this myself ngl

especially the ones wasting away their years that would set them up for life, think late teens to mid 20s

you wont get a real answer on this though, all youll really hear is “who cares about what people do with their life”, cause youre not allowed to call out degenerate or self-destructive behavior ig

Pikaboo, Xaryu, Cdew, Bajheera, Venruki are probably like the handful of PvP streamers I can think of that can be extremely comfortable off of their WoW PvP streaming income alone, including sponsorships and stuff.
And these are also decent looking (minus Cdew) charismatic dudes who are business savvy.

The rest are NEET status, probably socially innept, I hope they wake up and realize they’ve invested half of their life in a lost cause of a game.

bro what are you actually talking about, Cdew is also decent looking
Venruki looks the best tho, ngl

Even if you wasted this much time, a lot of people throw these years away partying. It doesn’t take long to get it back together and build something of you are smart and motivated.
The difference between the party lifestyle and WoW is you kind of age out of the former , after like 25 it gets old going out getting hammered doing drugs every weekend. it’s physically taxing.
Meanwhile you can stay plugged into the game indefinitely.

Skills

  • Be very dedicated and committed to a single craft, being consistently in the top .1%
  • Boost cheaters in exchange for money
  • Deny allegations
  • Avoid getting caught (banned)

Perfect fit for any company in pharmaceuticals, finance, insurance, gambling - even politics, to name a few.

If worse comes to worse they can always sell “medicine” to all the Tichondrius stoners they met along the way.

I don’t think they’d struggle at all.

Maybe I’m just a boomer, but what is a “NEET”?
I feel like the Judge from my cousin vinny…

definitely a boomer considering that’s a millennial term

My friend you can set yourself up for life in like 5 years of working without a degree, if you are having fun 20-30 gaming and then make the money later it is probably better then working your behind off 20-30 then relaxing 30+.

‘‘Pikaboo, Xaryu, Cdew, Bajheera, Venruki are probably like the handful of PvP streamers I can think of that can be extremely comfortable off of their WoW PvP streaming income alone.’’

I don’t think any of these people actually make that much money, especially considering the skills they use can be applied elsewhere for far far more profit.

Pikaboo and Xaryu both make like a million a year.

My dude asmongold makes a million a year neither of those people are anywhere near the popularity of him, nor do they have businesses on the side making a fortune.

Yes, they do. There were leaks a while back of Pikas income and Xaryu has grown as big as Pika since then, so one can assume he makes as much too.

Asmon makes way more than 1mil a year. Like way more.

You realize 20k subs is only ~90k a year after tax right. Even if they are straight add running adds every 10 minutes and have 2k viewers all the time it is about another 5-6k.

It is very unlikey either of these 2 are making 900k from just sponsors, donations and tourney wins.

The leak also offers a glimpse into the wealth generated in the gaming sub-industry. A document listing Twitch’s top earners shows gross earnings since 2019 reached $9.6 million for the platform’s top account, “CriticalRole.” The account, a set of voice actors, according to their Twitch page, generated an average of $370,000 a year, according to the document. The list points to 13 accounts that have made more than $108,000 a year and at least 80 who’ve collected more than $1 million since 2019.

The list you are talking about was talking about 2 years of worth including add revenue donations and sponsors held through twitch at the time. 108k is the average after all that.

Why are we pocket watching people who don’t know you exist

F. I’m actually a millenial, but I may be morphing into a boomer… am I gonna start having questionable views on minorities and the economy?!

Heckin’ unemployment rates! Thanks, Obama!!!

Okay, this is TOTALLY a boomer term XD

In all seriousness, as someone who is over-educated (in terms of degrees), college is absolutely a scam atm relative to the additional value of the degree and it’s unsustainable as a society.

Buff trade schools.
