You’ve spent the past 10-15 years when you should’ve been building a career playing WoW PvP 14 hours a day, you lack the charisma and marketing skills to be a successful streamer like Pikaboo (who makes 20 grand a month and could probably coast forever after Wow is over)
Even midrange streamers like Supatease would probably be screwed
What are these basement dwellers going to do? This is probably imminent in the next couple of years. If you’re reading this and this is you, take my advice and apply to welding school or something.
I don’t know if it’s because I was young when I initially started playing wow PVP but I feel like I learned quite a few things that apply to real life, including business. I actually have a little game where I think of people and try to guess what they would play
Few tips that helped me along the way:
Always blame others for your mistakes
If you think you’re going to mess up or if you’ve already messed up, alt f4 and unplug everything and say your power was out
Copy what people better than you are doing. Original thoughts are a trap.
Disable chat if you aren’t doing well
Play a role that seems important but actually gets the most results for the least amount of work inputted
GG go next
Rage quit after 2 losses with the same person
real life just moves a bit slower, it has insanely deflated MMR
won’t matter, they’ll be in the same boat as most people in a few years - $0 and the $ just below the “I have somewhere to stay this month” threshold are not so far apart, functionally speaking
