I can see it now - Creation Catalyst 1.0 will only work on Season 3 items. We will need to regrind items in Season 4, and we will have to wait 8 weeks while Creation Catalyst goes into hibernation in order to use it to convert drops from Season 4 into Tier Pieces.
We live in the darkest of timelines. I think I’d almost rather have a 14 month content drought than have to wait for Creation Catalyst two times during the same content release. 16 combined weeks of waiting. Bruh.

Imagine not running other content to try for more pieces and missing the part where it says the cooldown will get shorter over time.
Wouldn’t you have the tier pieces from season three though? Unless they deactivated the tier and added new tier sets?
They need to just open the catalyst now.
Season 4 = farming old content for transmog. If you expect anything else from it your expectations are too high.

It wouldn’t be as bad, but also it creates a situation where you’ll be collecting loot for 12 weeks that you won’t use for literally months in many cases.

I dunno about that. Them removing 8 dungeons I actually really like though… yeah, that may tip me over. I’ll have to see if I end up liking the dungeon pool S4.
Classic PvE’er response. What if tier pieces didn’t drop from raid but rather when you hit specific ranked ratings (one piece at 1800, one at 1950, 2100 and 2400). Would you still feel the same?
The point is, you should be able to get tier set pieces by doing the content you enjoy.

PvP shouldn’t even be part of tier. Y’all should’ve had your own sets. And y’all keep getting screwed.
Personally, I think they implemented tier this way just to point and say, “See? We told you didn’t want tier!” They purposely left out PvP from their own sets and purposely disabled Dom shards, which would have helped ease the power gap. And I think it was done so that they could say reintroducing tier went badly.
But my point was people keep throwing out these timeframes that are incorrect, because the cooldown will get shorter.
Move up when it’s released, that’s fine, but using the weekly timegate as an excuse is the issue.
