Yeah the gear in this game looks pretty outdated, but I will humbly say the art team and programmers do some amazing work to make it look fairly good.

It’s okay, I’ll be riding the high from Aberrus priest tier for a few more years, still.

Although I am a little bothered by the priest set being five light-themed colorations with only one shadow coloration. Makes me wonder if shadow will be restricted to the elite pvp set or something.

I mean its 2024 and i still play 2002~2012 games

mostly bc the older games are the best, idc about graphics, there are few current games that are good enough for me

and i like wow being cartoonist

The robe meta will be in and every world first guild will require raiders to transmog S1 low poly robes. PvP will do the opposite and hope the high poly count melts the competitions PC’s.

WoW has never had top tier graphics. It will never have top tier graphics.

That’s one thing that led to the game not having eleventy billion zone transitions compared to other MMOs and RPGs.

It’s a calculated risk they took and it’s worked out pretty well considering where the game is at after 20 years.

The thing Blizzard had going for it back then when World of Warcraft was launched was its Warcraft franchise. The problem is they wanted to appeal to the masses, so they chose the cartoon like graphics verse more modern looking graphics at the time. Had WoW launched with game specs that cut off so many fans because they didn’t have the power to run it then we wouldn’t be here today.

Would I like to see better graphics then the game currently uses, yes. But how many players would WoW retain if they didn’t meet the new system specs. Even now there are times with the current iteration of the game that the game world lags. Could you imagine if today’s graphics were used to do events. Just think about it.

Looks fine to me.

Imagine it in game with the proper lighting and shading, it will probably be very cool.
