my workday would have ended by now, and I still am unable to play. I don’t care about extra game time or money. I specifically took the Wed off as maintenance is typically Tuesdays. I honestly expected a fairly long maintenance for Tuesday. I am not one to typically complain about these things, it’s business. However, the amount of resources this company has and can’t even launch an X-pac?? It’s not like it’s a whole new game/engine. It’s an X-pac…
I digress… I took the day off work to play with the understanding of a 2 hour maintenance. I have not been able to play all day.

Hope you learned one of the biggest lessons in the gaming industry, never take off work for DAY 1, because this always happens. Wait this is day 2, you think they would hav e learned over the last say 20 years.

i mean, if im paid im paid. but id take it off for more than just a game. theres other things i can get done in that time too
I hear you on this. I try to avoid taking days off to play because where does it end? 1 day deserves another and so on. My gripe is staying up late to play a half broken game. I love AH too so thats a bummer with how jacked up it is

That’s where we differ in opinion. The X-pac may be two years, sure. how long is a season though? Alternatively, why do my motivations for how I see or play the game have anything to do with your opinion (which clearly is near sighted)?

Seriously, why would you take today as a day off to play? There is nothing special that was supposed to be going on today.
Not that I took my vacation for the expansion but needed a break from the crybabies/whiners at the office and yet I find myself in the forums reading the crybabies/whiners. At least I can call some of them names out loud without worrying about being fired.
At least my honey-do list is completed now

Why do you have such a problem with what I do with my 7 weeks of vacation time? Do you not have such luxuries?? I find it quite funny a few of you have this argument. It’s actually mind boggling.
I don’t I just found it odd that you would take time off now and not at early access, normal access or even the beginning of the weekly cycle.
Stop taking days off work to play a live service game during launch week
had the day off already but did get up at 8am PST to get a shower, eat, etc before getting on. AAAAAAAaaaaand i coulda slept til noon and missed nothing lol.
the devs should be embarrassed.
