Imagine If

Imagine if there were choices throughout Shadowlands that we had to make while leveling up, and we never really thought they would actually impact anything, much like the pro or con Sylvanas choices for the Horde in BFA…

…but then Blizzard tricked us into thinking we could pick our covenant, and we actually end up getting judged to see where we should go based off of our choices while leveling up, then thrown into the covenant that suits us based off of those choices.

Now that is a clever idea.

Since I am on #TeamArdenweald, I am okay being judged. The Winter Queen is a just and noble ruler of rebirth.

Yeah, and then someone writes a guide on how to get into a specific covenant and we have to refer people to said guide before they even level so that they can pick the one they want or the one that is best for them, thusly adding tedium.

Cool idea though.

That’s way too much work. Imagine thinking Blizzard would take time and efforts to do this.

Ardenweald for life!

Cannot wait to main my Druid again and join the Night Fae.

That sounds fine as far as RP is considered but can you also imagine being choice-led into a covenant that gives you a tawdry ability? Just no. The real problem is not the lack of choices, it’s the amount of power that is tied to the consequences of those choices.

Gorgeous transmogs, mounts, pets, and beautiful fauna people?

There is only one correct choice for me in Shadowlands. I don’t want to be a brain-washed Blue Man Angel, an Undead abomination, nor a Nosferatu (as cool as that last one is!). I want trees, and flowers, and pretty moth-girls.

I would game that test harder than I game Buzzfeed tests to see which kind of rock I am.

There are two possible mounts you can work on getting from Bastion at 60. You can choose between a robot lion and a winged lion. The game warns you about this choice when you do the initial quests while leveling in Bastion.

Same. I really hope the Night Fae fawn people become playable in the future because id totally play one.

Right? Oh… I am so excited by the mere possibility! I’ve tried to race change Wiccan in the past, but I always went back to a Night Elf. Fauna though? I could do it, I could commit to that.

No Draenei would ever be able to compete with my waggle!

This wasnt a serious post, it was just imagine if they did it that way. I feel like it would’ve been a pretty cool experience to find out which one youd get…and if you didn’t like it, then you could swap right away since it wouldn’t be a big deal as you haven’t progressed in it at all yet.
