Echoing the sentiments of others I’ve seen on the forums this week. My understanding is that if I do 5 TWD a week for 5 of the 7 weeks, then I’ll get the mount.
But I haven’t read that anywhere, I got that from a Youtuber, so I’m hoping they’re right. I’m also reading that dungeons aren’t being counted. It would be great if we could get some clarification.
I don’t want to finish this event only to find out I either had the wrong criteria, or needed to do an additional step I hadn’t heard/read about.
Not even just this specifically, but along the same vein I am kinda getting ticked off about how much of the game I need to look up in Wowhead or YT to get info. Hardly anything is properly explained in the actual game itself, it needs a 3rd party to lay it out for you.
Not sure what you’re missing here, you’re right. You only need 4 TW dungeons per week to meet the criteria for getting the Mastery of Timeways buff tho. You can track the Turbulent Timeways II achieve, and if you’re doing it right, it should be 2/5 atm.
Pretty sure you don’t need to do 5 TW a week, you just need to keep the buff active for 5 weeks and do 1 timewalking dungeon a week with the maxed buff on.
I did 4 on the first week to get the buff, then just one WoD dungeon this week and I’m 2/5.
I did 4 dungeons on my DK last week to get the buff, then logged off and didn’t touch him. This week I logged in and did an additional dungeon that refreshed the buff I got last week. The achievement is now tracking at 2/5. So once you get the 4 stack buff one week you only need to refresh the buff by doing 1 dungeon in subsequent weeks.
You’re SOL if you’re doing this on your main cuz if you’re playing regularly the buff will fall off so you’ll have to do 4 dungeons a week
Just make sure that one specific character does it all, I have a alt that is going to do all the dungeons, and then I just use the timewalking dungeons just to level random alts.
I had done 5 last week and got the buff then didn’t play that character again… logging in last night and doing 1 timewalking dungeon… boom! I now have 2 of 5 completed for timeways.
So … maybe make (or use) an alt and play that for the acheesmo? Keep 'em parked with the 3 hour buff and you’re good to go?
Yeah, it’s pretty low key. You can even bypass the 4 dungeons bit if you have a character who maintains the buff (4 dungeon requirement) and hop on them the next week and run another.
