Dwarves get surprisingly little representation given their supposed contributions to the Alliance in war. Night elves consistently get little moonwell outposts and such, but dwarven architecture is incredibly scant beyond 1-60 EK+Kalimdor.
My thoughts exactly, but it’s the kultiren island (spelling is off) just as we have a ton of troll crap. I understand tho, it’s already old and I’m ready for 7.2 so I have other places to go.
is a Night elf, of all races, complaining about not getting enough attention?
really?
you guys had a half of an expansion in legion focused entirely on you. 8.1 is focused on you. You guys get more attention than even humans, and that is saying something.
Gnomes, dwarves, worgen, draenei, sure. But NE are the literal last race that gets to complain.
I’ve long advocated for each race in each expansion to get some race-specific quests, complete with a little cinematic to help add flavor and flesh out lore.
Lunnaya, it’s not that they can’t write Elves, or Dwarves, (ok maybe they can’t), it’s that they can’t write either race - WELL.
The entire complexity of Moira and the council is never fully fleshed out. That was a series of quests right there.
Who here had heard of this ‘Night Warrior’ , Avatar of Elune before? Anyone? Bueller, Bueller, anyone?
Why in HADES haven’t: The Gnomes retaken Gnomeregan, the Dwarves fixed that d4mn dam, and the Worgen retaken Gilneas?
Those are ALL race-specific storylines waiting to happen. No, rebuilding a damn isn’t “major”, but it could be Dwarf specific.
So all the Illidan/Maiev and warden stuff and a good chunk of Azsuna (most of which has to do with pre-nightborne night elven society) don’t count for anything?
It sucks but anything by proxy that has humans in it is going to showcase them even when theyre heavily outnumbered. Its a big cliche for human written narratives to be human centric. As much as I like Star Wars it suffers from it alot. Although the characters are vastly more interesting overall m.
