I'm tired of this game community

It’s sad, unless you have already formed full friend groups for content or are an elite players there’s no doing anything in this game… Every pug is full of trash players that leave groups after single wipes and every decent guild is only for friends already formed or top players that have to prove experience before getting it, just. like. a. job.
I’m done with group content, done with the community and done with helping or trying to improve. Players did this, not Blizzard… I don’t know why i even tried… I hate this world.

It’s harder than it’s ever been to start friendships nowadays.

I was doing an invasion with WM on the other day and the scummy Alliance was going around ganking.

I said in general, “Let’s form up and regulate!” Nope. Not a bite. Not even a nibble.

Horde go in as individuals and died as individuals.

All I could do is watch and shake my head.

I have a love/hate relationship with mythic plus, as I feel like on one hand it’s a great way to get good gear fast, but on the other hand it has brought out the very worst in many people.

There are bad groups. No doubt about it. But there are lots of decent pug groups as well. My group in Temple of the Jade Serpent came to the tanks defense earlier tonight when a jerk go go go dps was giving him grief. You just gotta roll with it man. Shake it off and carry on. They’re not all bad. Its just easier to remember the bad ones and not the good ones.

I think you’re taking this way harder than you need to. It’s an online game and no, it’s not impossible to make friends. Even in guilds that have their cliques, you just need to be someone out going enough to start their own clique. I’m sorry you’re not happy here - take a break from the game, take a break from the Internet. Sounds like you need it and there’s nothing wrong with that.

I joined a mythic raiding guild that was trialing while not being able to get AOTC with my current guild at the time. If you find a “casual” mythic guild isn’t as focused as you would like you could use it to build your resume (parses).

If heroic is all you’re after there are a lot of guilds that are recruiting for heroic roster. Story being if I can get in there many of you could if you wanted to.

Also consider playing one of your other specs. Tanks or heals will be much more in demand than ret, which doesn’t do what everything else does unless played at very high levels.

I’m not saying you’re wrong about people sucking because they do, but you’re capable of accomplishing what you want to if you’re willing to move around.

Give Classic a try. Socializing/grouping up is more encouraged rather than the responsibility of the player.

Classic… Classic… CLASSIC IS CALLING YOU!

You seem frustrated.

Maybe better to just take a break and leave WoW for a bit. It’s just a game.

The ones I like the least are the tanks who decide to waste all our time by pulling the second he see’s what dungeon it is.
Dont sign up if you aint gonna play. Stop wasting our time.

I see you appear to tank most of your Mythic pluses. Have you found any of those players you pugged with worthwhile? I would definitely friend those that stayed with you on those keys that went over the timer but that you completed. Finding folks that stay for the duration may be worth cultivating - unless the timer was 86’d due to lack of mechanics knowledge. That can be frustrating.

Maybe there are some Mythic plus communities you could join? It’s hard to find good players, I agree. I hope you get in a groove with some solid regulars!

if you dotn raid or m+ ther is nothing for you to do in retail wow.

good thing we got classic wow its been a blast and the community is much better.

This makes me wonder. If most of the players in classic came from retail, why is the community that much better? I suppose the answer one would get is that’s classic promotes, or “brings out”,” the best in people because there’s a need to group-up.

What’s your thoughts, Arkayy? (Cool TES Aedra reference, too!)

because you have to work with each other there is no choice since its not a hand out game like retail.

Other than leveling - which is pretty cakewalk in retail - how is that different from retail?

And I’m more thinking heroic raids and Mythic plus 10 and up, when comparing classic instance content with retail.

play it and you will see why its destroying retail.

If you want to change the world for the better. Start by looking at yourself and changing one thing for the better.

If you like M+10 and up,you may not like plodding through to no endgame in Classic.

Its because people expected a good community all the way back from beta so when they play classic they act like decent people. It has nothing to do with the game itself, its perceived norms.
