I never asked to be anyone’s ‘Champion.’ I just wanted to throw rocks and drink beer.
Just because I killed a tentacle monster that was threatening the beer supply, doesn’t mean I’m a ‘Champion.’

Besides Magni, everyone else probably calls us it sarcastically.
‘Oh you’re the one that I suckered into collecting 10 pieces of lumber. Thanks Champ’.
They’re used to working with Blood elves. They address them in a pleasing manner or else they throw a tantrum.
Here’s some head canon for you then. If you don’t have the Azeroth’s Champion title then you are not actually a champion. Boom drastically cut down on the amount of people that this game calls hero/champion.
In Shadowlands, I think the generic title we get is Maw Walker. Which…I’m kinda digging more than other generic titles.
Reminds me how annoyed I was in being constantly called Dragonborn blah blah in Skyrim,
My character isn’t destined for something, I forge my own path!
I really don’t have anything on the champion…
But I do have this…
what do you call a ice skating dwarf?
a midget spinner
Get some better material, I’ve heard that one before.
Magni’s just bestboy and he wants everyone to feel good, don’t hold it against him.
I used to see people walking around the maw when I worked at subway, not many maws are operational around here now though since most people online shop.
Okay, so then what the heck are you? If you’re not the champion of Azeroth, then what are you?! A citizen of Azeroth?! You not wanting to be called a champion, is a slap to the face to everyone playing this game and everyone reading this post. It’s a slap in the face TO ME.
We are champions of Azeroth and soon we will be champions of the Shadowlands. Do not be ashamed, champion. Be proud. You are a champion of AZEROTH.
I mean, they managed to call me ‘Farseer’ once in Legion… That was pretty cool.
Maybe they should have called me ‘Doubleseer’ instead, haw.
Yes, random adventurers killing Old Gods makes sense.
Happened in vanilla
Better get used to it, Champ. I call every one on the forums Champ as a sign of endearment. Or whatever else comes to mind.
Baby doll, shortcakes, mook, schmuck, etc… Pick your poison, Champ.
I miss being a murder-hobo.
Champion and Hero just so painfully patronizing. “I owe it all to YOU, CHAMPION!” You mean me and the 300 other people who just completed this quest? It’s not really fit for an MMO.
Ok “chumpion” bring me a legendary item of unlimited power and I will pay to 25g.
Well in SWTOR I think we spent fifty years being called Outlander. I always figured if you read the chat while they are doing vocals that the name of my character is actually pronounced Champion in Azeroth talk. Come to think of it, doesn’t Magni belong to OUR faction? Why are we the ones having to earn rep with it?
Agreed I want to be called something way cuter
