Not sure how many will agree with me on this but ever since they made the game all about me it feels smaller and a lot less interesting.
It not being about me is what I loved about vanilla. I wasn’t super special, I was just exploring the world with other people. But now I’m the super Savior of azeroth. I’m super special…way more special than anyone else. I mean portals even responded to only me when I was in the maw…damn I must be awesome.
Me too. I super love helping yet ANOTHER camp with their local bandits and the BBEG of an expansion should totally be a mob kingpin’s 4th tier lieutenant retired 9th generation kid’s best friend’s cousin.
You know, to stay completely off the potential radar of relevance and all.
If they’re paying me I’ll be whatever the npc’s want me to be.
I miss being a simple adventurer like back in vanilla when I was the famed slayer of old gods.

Except we went back to champion murder hobos this expansion specifically because we asked them to stop making us the special snowflakes.

I always preferred being a new adventurer over champion, maw-walker, or whatever random title they choose.
Treat me like what I am.
A mercenary that will do whatever quest you give me.
Why one of these threads again? They never listen to us much at all. So this only just wastes time.

Don’t worry, I’ve been all over Azeroth and beyond and I assure you that not once has anybody ever mentioned your name to me.
