Here when everyone is complaining about Mythic+ Gear loot got nerfed, only I realised WOW is so cruel to casual PVP players like me.

I only did 3 myhic 0 since this expansion, the reason I avoid premade group was due to toxic players, but I was forced to attempt the 3 mythic 0 because I wanted to get the 32 slot bag mats (something core); so I was in full bentic gear which is considered overgeared at that time for Mythic 0;

PUG 1 - the host was a healer and a dps which is clearly undergear (not even able to que heroic dungeon), I just went in and assist tank to kill whatever he is targeting, then one boss it drops totem and I as a ranged dps are supposed to kill it ASAP, but i didn’t know as I didn’t run any of the dungeons in BFA as the gear drop doesn’t make sense. So I was criticised by the 2 undergear dude, I knew people are toxic so I just finished the run get my loot and be on my way.

PUG 2 - I told the host (a tank) I was dungeon virgin, So I just assist to kill his target, he agreed, then there come the toxic healer who thinks he is the most important person in WOW, nastily commented why our dps so slow in group pull and such (was playing demo warlock, my only AOE is imp explosion thingy and can’t use often), I endure and just finished the run, get my core and left the toxic group.

PUG 3 - there was a bone dinasaur boss, I didn’t know what to do there, someone else died there and the toxic comment started again.

So there goes my only 3 mythic 0 experience, got a Underrot mythic+ key from the chest, did some youtube this time, and it seems complicated so I just decided to drop my tailor profession and never get into any premade group since then.

If you armory me you can see that I’m only doing PVP to earn my 445 gear from conquest weekly chest and quest rewards, my ilvl is about 441 now and my HP is less than 400k. then in the BG, I’m playing as healer and always have someone commented on my HP, one cited just dinged 120 2 weeks ago and he is now 470 ilvl. I don’t care as I refuse to go into toxic premade group, and was always steam rolled by 700k hp dude, their Aimshot / Chaosbolt / don’t know what aiming devices (a trinket I checked), all deals 150k+ damage to me, as I quit the expansion for so long so never mind I thought to my self its okay to be undergear, others have spend a few more months effort than me so its okay, I just want to collect a fully set of pvp gears for cloth/leather/mail/plate (I only play healers in bg so priest/monk/shaman/pally), now you see, I have to endure toxic comment for 1 normal bg everyday for 4 toons (if you in a normal losing bg you’ll see those nasty comment and horde is famous in losing small bg), just to earn my ONE PIECE OF 445 GEAR FROM QUEST AND ANOTHER FROM WEEKLY CHEST LOOT.

Now with people start complaining about mythic loot nerf only I realised you can get multiple 465 gears loot (not include welfare gears from friends or guildmate) in a Mythic+ 15 and a 480 gears from weekly chest??? YOU ALL BEEN GETTING EASY LOOT AND ABUSING THOSE OF US WHICH IS UNDERGEAR IN BG? DO YOU THINK IF I WENT PVP I CAN GET TO ILVL 460??? HELL NO I CAN’T EVEN ARENA WITH 400K HP.

AND NOW YOU GUYS WANTED TO HAVE THIS EASY LOOT PROCESS IN SL AGAIN??? AND WE PVPER HAVE TO FARM 200k+ HONOR (MAYBE IT TOOK MONTHS) JUST TO GET A SET OF 189ilvl GEARS AND YOU GUYS GETTING EASY 210 GEARS EVERYSINGLE DAY AND STILL NOT ENOUGHT??? MYTHIC ISN’T HARD, THE TOXIC PEOPLE ARE, IF BLIZZARD CAVE IN TO GIVE EASY GEARS IN PVE LIKE BFA, THERE GOES MY SUB, I REGRET PREORDER SL ALREADY.

Solution;

  1. give gear template like in MOP. (if implement this one, ignore below 2 suggestion)
  2. let heroic dungeon drop valor token so we pvper have reason to do random heroic to get last season raid gears just to pvp.
  3. let pvper get welfare gears as well.

/rant end, but seriously if mythic + continue to be this OP in gearing up toon, I’ll delete my wow account, I have been playing since Vanila, can’t take more dissapointment from blizzard again.

Just a few things:

  1. You left your capslock button on. I know you’re frustrated but it comes across as immature and pouting when you type “IN ALL CAPS BECAUSE I’M UPSET AND WANT TO MAKE A POINT!”

  2. How long have you been trying to gear through PvP? I’ve been grinding out random BGs for the past few months and am now up to 460.

  3. Frankly, as someone with “no dungeon” experience criticising anyone, I suggest next time just don’t. It’s not your place and you’re as equally inexeperienced if not more so than someone who is undergeared.

  4. I get wanting to avoid “toxic premades”. Hell, I wish I could avoid random “toxic” groups. Thankfully, you have to tools to do so.

You can join or form a guild that suits your needs and tastes. And barring that, you can start your own group and advertise it in LFM.

Stat templates in a game where gearing your character is a thing is such a ridiculous oxymoron that should never be considered.

I’m item level 463 and I’ve geared entirely though PvP. I understand it’s not Mythic gear, but it’s better than Heroic dungeons.

honor gear is absolutely worthless in SL, level of a m0 gear that will also take literal months to get

I hear your pain, I also wish we could be viable both in professions and Wpvp without having to join ANY groups but instead go the long route and either grind it out with pvp currency or at least be able to craft high end gear by toughing out the profession grind, but I’ve quoted your comment because I believe Blizzard doesn’t care because clearly this player that just dinged 120 has either a lot of buddies carrying him or he’s done what most people do and that’s buy runs for gold, right into blizzards plans, Blizz makes huge bucks off it . sad but true

I’m hoping for PvP gearing to get better in Shadowlands, sure we get vendors but if the gear sucks why even bother?

I’d take TBC, Wrath or WoD PvP systems over what they’ve put up on the ptr anyday.

Golly…I just started doing mythics this xpac and my experience has been the complete opposite. I usually just join the groups that say “chill” in the name or whatever. That way it’s no pressure.

I’m not sure why you’re saying you’re only getting 445 stuff as your weekly pvp reward? After you get a full set of 445 gear you should be getting 460 gear.

Doing BGs to gear up is, i’m sorry to be blunt, straight up stupid. If you want to cap conquest quick you turn on warmode, do the conquest challenges in groups, do the invasions etc etc.

You’re the one who is getting easy loot.

Actually you can, because similar to mythic+, pvp gear rewards scale with arena rating. Which makes sense. I got a 480 piece from arenas after the first week of 8.3.

Sounds like a YOU problem rather than universal. Pretty sure random players can get to 1400 rating with minimal gear.

it so tree , the mythic plus come in 2 go haha noob if u die which always the hapen ; they get more health and damage less skill and win it

I did LFR as well, I do anything doesn’t involve premade, random pvp and LFR is all I have. doing normal or heroic dungeon doesn’t make sense at all, you can get daily gear with higher ilvl what’s the point? that’s why I never set foot in any of the dungeon, as mentioned my only 3 premade was forced by tailor profession.

I avoid premade, did some skirmish, everyone joined is 500k hp++, when 2 dps see my low HP and will just focus me for the win. I just resub last month so I’m late and vastly undergear.

Try win 4 normal bg everyday, see how easy it is for you.

Epic BG horde win 80%
Normal BG horde lose 80%

Since you are horde I’m sure you can relate.
