True melee brain right there.
Sorry but no. Piloting melee is way easier than caster, especially if you actually have to cast your stuff.
Getting stunned is also worse on a caster since it’s used to stop a cast, during which you did exactly nothing.
Did you know that you can also be interrupted sometimes, no matter your years of experience, by melees just because they dance like crazy around you and no matter how good you are at turning to react to it, you still lose a cast sometimes?
Even if it only happens every few games, every time it happens it’s the most frustrating
ever. This alone makes it more stressful.
When I play my warrior I just laugh at the struggles I have on my warlock, like it’s not even a comparison.
Oh I’m in a root, yeah whatever, I just don’t care that much. I still have many responses and things I can do to disrupt, pop reflect or just stormbolt cuz yay, every single melee just HAS to have an instant cast CC on range as well.
You lose care when you’re used to things like this:
You actually get interrupted for more than 30 seconds in a row sometimes, no matter what your teammates might do to peel for you, since it’s way easier to stop casts than to stop melee with their current overbloated mobility.
When everything you do is just instant cast, life is just easy. You press your button and you know it’ll 100% connect.
And again, not every caster is the same. Those that mainly just spam instants or have a bazillion spellschools for CC like firemage don’t care that much either.
