I finally got part one done of Pathfinder, and I just have to do one or two more quests for Ankoan, but I still have to do all of of Rustbolt. I just want this to be over.
I’m so sick of these world quests that haven’t changed since launch.

I’m more burned out by WQs, ‘Daily events’, and Dailies that just feel unrewarding for the work. There was no reason for them to reduce the amount of rep you get from both from Legion to BFA. Not to mention doing a WQ route takes a LOT longer in BFA than it did in Legion, and some WQs take ages to complete.
Rust bolt is just 1 WQ per day.
According to the developers you must love this content.
Their time spent metrics prove this. The carrot and stick involved have nothing to do with it.
There’s still all the daily’s too though.
There’s hardly a distinction.
I got through it by wPvPing on the side, if you don’t like wPvP. Perhaps watch Youtube or Netflix on the side to get you through it? Maybe listen to a podcast?
I still believe that there should be an option to purchase flight while pathfinder remains for those that enjoy it.
I don’t think the dailies even give rep or that much.
The single WQ is like 850 rep by itself.
I believe many are burned out to an extent but… the new expansion be just around the corner mon, be proud of what you’ve worked to achieve!
And to the worgen above… AWOO
That also gives you like a bit below 2k per day rep too with the bonus included
So a high bang for your buck with the WQ and if you want to grind a bit more you can for diminishing rewards per time spent.
Sounds like it’s a personal decision.
I only did the WQ because I can’t be bothered with doing a million dailies (or WQ for that matter).
It’s a personal decision because I just want to be done with this garbage achievement.
The ironic part is after I got pathfinder I realized I mainly only fly to do WQ required for pathfinder…
At least until the 8.3 invasions.
The issue is the number of them. Back in Mist of Pandaria the hot topic was just how many dailies there were.
Even though WQs in BFA have reached the same height if not more I don’t see people often complaining about it.
It says a lot about a game, when you need netflix to make it bearable lol.
Mechagon is a little different from Naztajar. It has one usually simple WQ and a handful of dailies. Oh and jetpacks. Jetpacks are a lot of fun.
Mechagon is much better than Nazjatar when it comes to grinding for pathfinder. Since you can’t fly yet, make sure to get the jetpacks in mechagon, it’ll make your life way easier when searching for rares or chests. If you have a human, do the grind on that character to get even more rep (it works, I did Nazjatar on this belf monk and mechagon on my human priest)
You really don’t have to do the dailies if you don’t want to, but if you do them that’s a big chunk of extra rep a day, especially with the 100% bonus rep event going on right now.
It would be nice if they actually rewarded us for doing them. Things like war resources/AP/ and usless gear that gets outdated within 2 days of playing shouldn’t be the only thing we get from them EVERY world quest should drop at least 100g along with those items as well.
ain’t it 1700 reps or the buff doesn’t include it?
You all can just wait until SL when they will be giving flying away in BFA for the cost of gold, the same as they will be doing for WoD and Legion.
You are lucky.
I was doing these world quests in BFA alpha/beta. Fortunately I didn’t burn myself out but yeah my opinion is that world quest system doesn’t do it for me.
