I’m getting really pissed off that I keep dying from the fire. You need to turn it off. everyone I’m talking to hates it. You can give us an option to tur if off . It completely destroys the game play.

I agree it’s really annoying. But bottom line is it isn’t going to change for a while yet.

It’s only ever bothered me twice.
On the contrary, I love it. Makes the game feel more alive to actually have something going on in the world, directly by the big baddie.
If anything, we should turn Deathwing back on for Retail and maybe even put him in SoD!

I’ve been killed a total of 3 times on 3 different characters.
I’ve avoided being killed twice by heeding the foreshadowing.
Once by hopping on a nearby flight path, and another by mounting and flying up in the air to avoid the flames.
You should be able to avoid dying most of the time if you can fly.
Only once have I not seen the foreshadowing at all.
It happened when I was underground handing in quests.
(I watched as quest givers kept respawning and dying again while I waited for the fires to stop. 
)

You’ve clearly never taken one of the poorly placed portal landings then. Blasted lands port for dark portal? Spawn into fire. Uldum for raid? Spawn into fire. Those are not avoidable in the slightest and REALLLLLLLLLLLLY suck when you’re trying to keep some buffs.

Deathwing only burns the naughty people.The ones that feel the wrath of Deathwing’s hellish flames are sentenced to death plain and simple.Hopefully it replenishes you from your sinful acts, allowing you to become reborn as an honest sameritan carrying out good deeds throughout the rest of your days.

Do you have any idea how low the odds are of: porting, hearthing, logging, or flight pathing into a zone at the exact same time that zone is under attack?

Go ahead and claim this happens to you on a regular basis.
It will be the easiest way for you to convince everyone that you’re lying and should simply be ignored.
They should at least fix it so the sky goes dark and he says his voice line when he spawns in. Right now that’s bugged, so unless you’re looking up at the sky you get no warning that Deathwing is about to roast you.

Maybe I’m just unlucky, but it happened to me twice when porting to the Blasted Lands to do the holiday event. And although it hasn’t happened lately, I’ve been roasted several times porting to Uldum. That’s just on my main. Leveling is a whole other story. It can be frustrating but I don’t get too fussed over it. Just shake it off and go on.
Like everything else, it’s RNG.
