I hear you, friend. My suggestion would be to create additional characters and mail each one your reagent and or void storage items, if that helps, or have them hold it in their banks. They are going to change the bank system next patch.

So there’s a chance that the same thing that happened to guild banks a while ago will happen to regular banks and people will lose their stuff lol

While this is true I’m kinda hoping 20 years of updates means messing with the bank slots won’t touch your character’s bags.

Player-Character Bank Updates

In Ghosts of K’aresh, your character’s bank is updated and now uses the same configurations as the Warband bank. Character banks now comprise tabs with per-tab settings available. Each tab includes 98 slots of storage. Six tabs can be purchased, costing 1 gold, 100g, 500g, 1000g, 2500g, and 5000g. Bank tabs are automatically unlocked on login. At level 80, all tabs are unlocked automatically. For characters below level 80, the number of tabs available will be based on how many bank bag slots …

ESO came out in 2014. It’s time wow upgraded to having plants/ore stored like currency. Maybe we can still select from a reagent tab to get any buffs.

This would free up my bank and inventory.

Maybe a huge leap here, but an “obsolete” sort system would be nice. I have to use ATT addon often on my alts to remind myself of stuff I should just vendor
