Ok so now that 9.1.5 has arrived I am ready to choose a new covenant. I am currently Fury and Venthyr and from what I’ve been reading I believe I’m going to DPS as Kyrian and play Arms. I do not PvP I mainly do PvE raid and do mid level mythics. Since my guild has stopped raiding do to players leaving I’ve been pugging what I can here and there but have been rather reluctant to try to get into any Heroic raids or higher keys do to Fury’s poor poor dps in Raids and Mythic+'s generally speaking. Kind of embarrassed of my dps :).
So I’m asking for some advice of what the best Covenant would be; and if Arms is better than Fury with that choice. I have read a bit on Kyrian and they do appeal to me more than the other choices … so if they are second by a slight margin I’m fine with that.

Kyrian is probably the prime choice for M+. Arms or fury they both do well.
Remember you can freely swap now, if you don’t like one you can try another. Just need to level renown and do the campaign once per covenant.
The only thing that gets reset from swapping is any mission currently set out, upgrades in progress do not get reset, same with things like the queens conservatory don’t either. In fact they continue to tick down to completion.
Quick edit: I have tried all 4 covenants. Kyrian by far is the funnest playstyle for M+.
Night fae’s CD is to long to be fun
Necrolord also has a long CD and you don’t really “feel” the effect from the banner.
Venthyr can be fun at times but is more work for less DPS.
I went Necro because I like the idea of providing a buff to other members

I’d run Night Fae. It’s very strong for Fury, and BiS for Arms. To be honest, Necrolord is the only weak covenant for warriors, but its value is in what you can do for your group, rather than yourself.
Personally, I like mobility, so Night Fae is dope. And I’m into the pretty faerie aesthetic as much as the gothic vampire one. Also, Podtender is nuts for Mythic.
I’m running NF as my 3rd covenant tryout. I prefer Niya for Mythics since Grove Invigoration’s 11% damage increased while enraged for fury is too good to pass out. it also goes up to 16%~ if you’ve healed an ally. Paired that up with Merciless bonegrinder and you’re looking at 8-11k whirlwinds

I was talking for Mythic raid for Podtender.
I would run Korayn for M+, since First Strike is ridiculous for multitarget situations.

Kyrian is fine, gives a lot of versatility and options for all three specs. Decent Arms, great Fury (especially for M+) and our best Tank Covenant.
NF is good, also has lots of versatility and options. Best Arms setup, decent Fury, and tied for 2nd best tank.
Venthyr, well, it’s a simbait trap for the most part. Really feels clunky in most content. PvP Arms is were it can shine. Either way, not a fan.
Necrolord, not a bad tank as you get some decent additions to defensive abilities. The big mastery buff can really benefit the group. Overall, Necro warrior doesn’t bring as much to the group as others.
P.S. whoever told you Fury is trash for M+ was full of sh**. Fury is still very good for M+.
