Everyone here is complaining about it, so I just want to let you know, i’m gonna play SoD when it comes out, i’m gonna have fun, and there’s nothing the bunch of you trolls can do about it.
I’m more annoyed that the forum quality has dropped significantly over the last day than SoD Itself which I will also be trying. I’m also concerned about the quality of the people playing SoD based on what’s happened to the forum over the last day as many new people on here despise the classic player base.
Classic isnt going away so I dont get all the crying. They will still have their vanilla
I will be also trying out SoD as its looks fun and interesting and forum crybabies can waste their life away on the forums qqing
SoD sounds like great fun! Ten man raid in BFD ! I can’t wait…
I’ll be trying it out A.S.A.P.
You have my sword friend
Too bad classic + wont be a thing
^ Case in point to everything my post right above this one was saying.
Imagine being the type of person who would visit a country and show nothing but contempt for the people who live there.
Same. I’m keeping an open mind with it. Not gonna glaze Blizzard since we don’t know how good or bad it is, but I’ll give them props for trying to cook. I’ll try it with an open mind and see if I like it. If it ends up being fun, great. If it sucks, Era is always there for me.
I’m gonna play the hell out of this. Wish the opening didn’t collide with league in OSRS but that’s what having extra monitors is for. Then after this cata baby haven’t been this excited for WoW since BC classic announcement.
Yeah, can’t wait to raid BFD!
The worst part of SoD is the new spells…everything else is fine.
So you’re telling me that you don’t want balance to be viable in end game?
or elemental? or Ret?
or are you just salty that the meta is changing and you arn’t certain that you can change with it?
i think it’s the healing mages and tanking rogues that is a little too silly.
Hey, you don’t want a mage healer, don’t invite one to the group.
completely missing the point…but then again it’s fairly obvious you aren’t here to make a point. You are here because you are the kind of person who gets upset when you see an opinion that isn’t the exact same as yours.
I did find it interesting that it looks like Elemental shamans as a spec have very little variance from their retail counterpart. Then I considered, ele shamans have changed probably least if not one of the least, as specs over time. Is the feedback from ele shaman mains that MoP-style Ele ‘got it right’?
Will be one of the specs/classes I intend to try, as well as tank shaman and lone wolf, sniper, aimed shot hunter pvp.
looool
That’s precious.
I think it sounds fun. Some good ideas. But I’d also like a regular fresh classic server. This is essentially going to be a different game experience than classic. Which is welcomed! But it shouldn’t mean abandoning classic freshes.
Both my retail AND classic guilds are going to be playing. It honestly seems like an entire breath of fresh air and even keeping things secret (for us to discover!) is a great choice. Especially the runes! Tier lists be damned I GET TO PLAY WHAT I WANT TO PLAY!!
Yes.
Balance is super strong in lots of pvp situations (outside competitive bgs) it doesn’t needs a buff - it is one of the best 1v1 specs.
Ret paladins should never be top dps, or even viable dps - they are plate wearers with insanely strong heals and dispels - that creates insane balance issues that cannot be solved without buffing other things across the board.
Elemental is already decent engame in geared groups since encounters are so short - but it is better to have a resto shamans.
The game isn’t balanced around raids but it is balanced across the board (from leveling to pvp to raids - all the classes have multiple roles that are viable)
I would be a bit surprised if all the buffs somehow make the game more balanced, I have a feeling it will be far less - but I would love to be proven wrong.
