Title. It’s beyond ridiculous that so much power is gatekept behind the developers pet classes, and forcing engineering on any character that wants to do hard dungeons or whatever is dumb too. Worse than back when every arena player had to have skinning/mining for the crit and stam.
Give it to all healers, make the engineering one usable by ppl without the profession, I don’t care, just make things less miserable

The problem isn’t battle rez, the problem is Mythic+. MMOs shouldn’t be designed around 5 man content.

This… seems like a rather minor concern, honestly. I don’t disagree with playing FFXIV per se - it’s not the Earth’s greatest game by any means, and somehow Eorzea’s world manages to be even more dead than that of WoW’s - but lack of a universal rez is kind of… small potatoes, really.

It’s hilarious. It’s so common for players to rage about something and quit, only to return next week.
ff is a game for casual players and really only casual players. you can google without even buying the game and figure out what the end game is like vs wow or any other game. its very sparse for “hardcore” content, and according to my friends who have played both even their hardest difficulty of raiding is like heroic difficulty in wow. if your focus is on having your own house and crafting stuff for yourself vs grinding content for it, it seems to be a great game.

What’s the problem again?
I’ve heard the endgame is pretty bad there. I’ve got no idea though, I never could make it to endgame. It’s not for lack of trying, it’s that the combat system is so boring.
People always say that and then you constantly see WoW refugees eating dirt and killing the rest of the raid in normals lol. God forbid you don’t have an addon yelling at you constantly telling you what to do.
you have a self rez, which is cheating! though i can ss myself at like 1/3 the cd… honestly they need to make ankh reset with each attempt the way most other things do now. yall should crusade for it. i for one would love the QQ from druids about how it’s not fair. XD
raiding in ff is not why i’d ever play it. the rpg aspects and collection things are why it’s appealing vs wow. also that the cash shop is larger. i’m not a hardcore player at all. i do my weekly low key for my welfare box and then run old raids for mog, when i play wow. lol. can’t comment on it. just said what my friends who play both have said.
i’ve said before, if ff14 had existed as it does now when i started playing wow, instead of the monstrosity that ff11 was, i’d almost certainly have played it instead. their crafting system and other things min maxers don’t care about all seem way more appealing than how stuff has been in wow for many years. lol
