If BFA was on the same level of fun as Legion was I’m sure I’d be ok with it too.
I don’t mind Pathfinder, but I’d like flying now, it’s be dragged out enough.
I don’t mind not being able to fly either, and I’m not in any great rush to accelerate Pathfinder Part 2 for BfA.
I wonder sometimes if perhaps I’m not invested enough in the game to understand the feelings of those who argue in favor of flying so fervently, but really, I think maybe I’m a little too relaxed for the community.
I don’t mind Pathfinder, I mind that they hold it off until “They” feel they’re ready for it. It’s petty and childish.
“No flying unless I say so, must play our way in the MMORPG - zero player choices”. Should be released at the start of the expansion and done with PF Part 1.
I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again, Pathfinder is the best compromise between Blizzard not wanting us to immediately invalidate everything in the world through flight, and people who want flight.
You’ll get the flight, just not immediately, and you have to interact with the world to get it.
Edit: I like how I’m the person in the middle, saying Pathfinder’s a good compromise between both sides, and everyone’s getting snippy and replying at me.
And it’s the same reply over and over again. Haha
I’m ok with not immediately, I just feel we have waited long enough. Give us phase two of Pathfinder now.
If flying were added I don’t think it would make much of a difference. Does having flying suddenly make WQs fun? That’s the only open world content we got besides pet battling
Warmode mass Brawls over assaults.
Pretty much the best content of the expansion. It would be ruined if we had flying.
Flying makes game play more fun for me.
Then no flying with Warmode on.
We haven’t immediately invalidated anything, its been five months and we have seen everything in the world.
I’m fine with Pathfinder at the start but I have it and I am still not flying. There is no content to skip now so there is no reason to delay flying.
Okay but there is content in other expansions that this concept isn’t compatible with.
The only reason there is mass brawls over assaults in WM is because of the 30% bonus. Before the bonus Horde were complaining about no Alliance to fight in WM which was only ground mounts.
I wonder if Blizz would ever have introduced flying in the first place if they could do it all over. They very obviously do not want us flying.
Its boring without flying for a good number of players.
What is that?
Flying ruins your PvP experience.
No flying reduces my PvE experience.
You had no flying long enough in BFA, now it’s our turn. Anyway, we won’t get flying in new content until much later. So you will still have no flying new Warmode areas.
Blizzard is desperate for subscriptions. Don’t give reasons to give people to unsubscribe.
I like pathfinder. I don’t mind not having flying but would like it soon.
No it’s getting conquest points for doing the WQs as well as the secret chest (50 conquest on top of the kill 25 players loot.
The 30% during assaults is pretty irrelevant.
I love flying. I loved the way it was handled from BC-onward (Cata had a slightly different approach); never minded having to reach max level on every character first because there was enough variety in the content to keep my main and several alts happy without the entire experience being a constant rerun.
Second, because by the time I reached max level I had earned enough gold to pay for the skill or area flight license. Admittedly, during BC it took months to earn the gold for (then) hi speed flight (270%).
In Cata, level and gold requirements for every type of mount were lowered and assigned to every twenty character levels from 20-60 and every 10 from 60-80.
There was never any reason to remove this and replace it with Pathfinder; all the rationales given are garbage and, if you want to use your flying mounts in current content you can give up your freedom to decide what in-game things you want/do not want to do – Pathfinder chores are selective and by no means inclusive of all in-game activities there are. But they should be as most of the tiresome tasks have absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with flight.
I just won’t buy expansions or in-store items again and haven’t since 2015. And once I tire of current content, it’s “goodbye”. So far, still having some occasional fun with BG twinks.
