I wanted to buy some store pets and 1 mount but now I can’t.

I especially wanted bright kitty.

Why must the store come to a end?

There’s a bundle going on, it’s basically a goodbye to a lot of store items

Why not get the bundle? If what you wanted is in it then it’s cheaper and it discounts the items you already have. Unless you really just interested in 1 particular item, but you said pets and a mount so I’m guessing they are in the bundle ? Were they taking off the store individually to be only available on this bundle?

The store isnt going anywhere. They are retiring some items for a little while. Basically the Disney vault and they will return eventually. Again, the store isn’t going anywhere!

Anyone have any idea why this is happening anyway? I mean, it’s easy to say that Blizz just hopes people will buy the bundle en mass as gifts, but it still feels like a pointless removal of items.

pretty sure they are just retireing some mounts and pets and the 3 helm transmogs… but they are selling them all in a bundle that used to cost 150 and they dont go away til like jan 6

I’m going to be cynical here and say another way to do a cash grab before the quarter ends, stocks did go way down for a while and they need a way to keep investors happy. I don’t know if they rebounded or not, but they usually do a pet and mount sale at this time, so who knows.

I’m a little sad about them retiring (however temporary) some of the shop items. I don’t mind cosmetic cash shops!

It does push me to buy the bundle, especially since the helms are included and I’ve always wanted them.

One nifty thing about the bundle: if you own some of the items, the price will discount slightly to reflect that. (So for example, mine costs ($46.25.)

Its just a cash grab. By creating artificial scarcity they’re trying to drive up sails before they’re taken off the store. And drive up sails for when they put them back on.
