I’m not going to try to argue why MT appearances should come back.
Rather, I don’t understand the logic at all in coming to different conclusions for these.
Either bring all the removed crap back, or bring none of it back. This arbitrary pick-and-choose thing that looks very nonsensical is awful.
Exactly. I can understand for seasonal items not making a return, as they were seasonal items, but the Mage Tower appearances were not seasonal. It makes no sense to not being those back, but yet, other stuff that were removed after Legion such as the Mythic Trail of Valor appearance set or the Voilet Spellwing tied to Ahead of the Curve: Argus the Unmaker, making a return.
Just makes 0 sense.
It doesn’t make any sense at all. The mage tower and associated artifact appearances are from damn near 10 years ago now. They are some of the most unique and cool looking weapons in the game and so many players are barred from ever getting them, this is a video game and blizzard needs to make these available again to players. Most players who say they have the appearances say they don’t even care about the exclusivity. #ReleaseTheSkins

I would also add the Chosen dead ensembles. Those were only obtainable through immortal trial of valor mythic. It does seem to be a little arbitrary.

My guess is they ran the numbers are came to the conclusion that 95% of the people who got the aotc mount just straight up bought it. So it never really had any actual exclusivity to it.

To be fair, that’s how most people also got the challenge mode armor in MoP also I imagine.
If we couldn’t get the CM sets during MoP Remix, why would you expect to get the MT appearances in Legion Remix?

Oh I’m sure. Basically anything FOMO that doesn’t force you to be solo is usually just bought by the vast majority of the playerbase. And even then the solo stuff can be bought if people buy piloting services. Although I believe that’s a lot easier to detect based on the fact that a lot of people got banned for it when the mage tower 2.0 came out. That plus piloting is against the EULA vs buying carries for gold isn’t.
