Without RDF I won’t be able to make groups quickly when I only have a couple hours a night to play. If grouping is going to take forever I won’t have time to make groups. I don’t plan on just raid logging so I’m going to unsub if RDF isn’t going to release.

Are you stressed right now? If you are, is it about dungeon grouping or are you perhaps feeling some kind of way for a different reason?

I play the parts of the game I find fun. BGs are fun. Dungeons with RDF are fun. Asking gatekeeper if I can please be part of their zerg party and being rejected because I’m not full Sunwell geared for Herioc Ramparts is not fun.

Sure, 100%. You’re preaching to the choir here, I don’t plan on touching PvE in Wotlk. I’m gonna gear fully through PvP, and git gud in arenas to get my PvP wep and other rated gear.
Just surprised you put in all this work in prepatch just to quit. Did you not know until now that RDF wasn’t going to be in?
I knew but it wasn’t much “work”. I had fun playing the DK for 20ish hours to get full brutal.

Im neither super pro or against RDF. That said, if it all boils down to RDF (especially considering we just got BG queue and you enjoy BGs), I think you might be overreacting.
Also, if the dungeon finder comes with a kick function (not sure if it does), you can bet your house that those that are left behind on LFG for not being fully geared will be kicked and griefed via the reporting system. It’s happening in every other aspect of the game.
You mean you won’t be able to grind content quickly while completely ignoring your group.
LFG is pretty low-stress. I was just sitting in the channel and I got three invites in a short amount of time.
This sounds like a “you” problem.

I would agree that ree rees would kick people for not being BiS in RDF the dungeons are so easy that they wouldn’t have time to kick.

Sorry I don’t ignore my group in RDF. I ask people if they know the fights. I say hi. I shoot the crap about the football games etc… That doesn’t even happen in current Retail rn. I bet you could query the groups and most would only say GG at the end.
idk man that wasn’t my experience in retail leveling dungeons. I was a new sub and got kicked for not having heirlooms that I wasn’t close to affording yet. In leveling dungeons that were easier than anything that exists in classic.
If people are scummy in lfg, well those same people will be in dungeon finder being toxic.
RDF is convenient but it doesn’t fix the issues you have with the community as a whole.

Hard agree with Marsmouth. I had a similar experience with people trying to kick others for no good reason in retail RDF but couldn’t kick me because my friend was with me in the group with me and would not vote. In the end the other three players quit the group and my friend and I waited for the system to give us a new team to finish the dungeon.

Do you feel you’re appropriately geared and competent for Heroic Ramparts?
Look, we’re in ptr and two weeks from launch. Rfd will not be in at launch. I don’t forsee them hot fixing it in either. I won’t be surprised if rdf is added, but if it is I think it’s about a 0% chance you’ll get it before ulduar.

Yeah full brutal gear should be fine. I do about 2.6k dps. Is that enough for a heroic dungeon?
