Just playing the game how I enjoy and doing what I want ie much more fun and relaxing then pressuring myself to clear raids in pugs. My guild may or may not clear all the bosses. Im good with that. Not going to raid for 72 hrs in alt grps just to ensure I checkbox a boss. Would rather chill and do mythics or something else instead.
Slime cat is neat. It’s not worth the pressure of pushing pugs tho.
I don’t think many disagree. 
Our issue has always been the fact it was listed as an LFR reward for 3 months.

I am way too under prepared, and not high ilvl enough to stress over pugging and dealing with that non sense. Wish it was fun or I was in a better position to enjoy it all but it is what it is.
Do you honestly think though that it was out of malice? I never understood this train of thought.

At this point, it was either malice or incompetence.
They knew it was there too because wowhead reported on it.

You haven’t been watching the forums have you? They haven’t even given an explanation about the Slime Cat fiasco, and went against every single piece of feedback they received about Soar, again, with no explanation.
So yea, that’s exactly what it feels like they did.
Honestly. Would be nice if there was no pressure to get certain things. Wouldn’t bother me at all for LFR to have actually gotten it.
It’s just seriously not that important to me. Would it be super cool to be like a bm hunter with future slime cat pets and a ji.gles cat companion and slime cat mount. Ya. Would be great )
I feel for the ppl being pressured into pugging and pushing content they don’t want. Its not healthy.
You know, I used to think the stuff they did wasn’t done out of malice, but… I’m beginning to think that some of the stuff they do is in order to piss people off. Otherwise they wouldn’t do it. A good example was removing water walking from the strider. 
I have. I just don’t see it that way. I guess in their minds or whatever goes on at blizzard HQ they decided it wasn’t worth responding clearly thinking it wasn’t a big deal. Maybe we’ll see a response soon? But I doubt it. Sometimes it’s just better to move on than keep dwelling…
Was that because of the mount floats?
There is a bit of micromanagement…kinda controlling vibe… maybe even anxiety about players breaking stuff making them overly cautious so like there’s that.
Not relevant for cosmetic rewards tho rly.

The fact was they changed the requirements shortly after the season started after it being up for 3 months. Basically misleading many players, and those that try to get there friends to play.
It’s similar to a bait and switch. This means you can not trust blizzard with anything they say or put literally in the game.
It’s more of a you can’t trust blizz sort of thing. And morally in business pulling something like that off in advertisement and being misled is sketchy.
It would be like advertisements marketing a low price and when you get to the cash register it spikes in price by twice the price.
My main issue is they said the change was because people complained they see too many water striders.
Yet they haven’t touched the herbalism mounts even though they’ve always been more prevalent than the striders.
I mean it upset a ton of customers to remove the water walking from that mount, when it was not necessary to do (points at your mount equipment comment). Yet they did it. Another example… remove all the portals from everywhere. Another example… make it so raid trash no longer drop gold/greens… or how about trying to take flying out of the game but after so much backlash putting a very complex and timely gated achievement to get it? These changes did nothing to improve the game, but they did piss people off.
I’m not either baby but they should have put it in LFR
