Im kinda angry about Twitch Prime Rewards

i didnt know i was paying for eary accsess.
if that was a thing cleary on the buy screen i would have never bought it because that is a disgusting business practice.

can you play the game as equally as a shadowlands player if you just have MoP expansion?
because the helm hasnt depreciated in value like a MoP expansion has.

i have not once said i wanted the money back.
at all.
i support the idea of a refund but id rather they just up the quality ( like pixel upgrade ) for those who bought it.
or maybe give us some new helms? idk.

I hope they add Sparkle Pony to the Prime Rewards. It was the first item I purchased from the store, and at the time it was a great purchase since it gave all my characters free riding. I don’t really use it these days, but I’m sure some players would enjoy using it to match their celestial transmog.

Blizzard, please give these nice people the Celestial Steed for free. You have my blessing.

i think you should make that a thread. if thats your opinion.

You mean a decade ago?

Youve had your time.

A used helm for 9 years is as depreciated as a 9 yo expansion.
It gets boring to use/do.

Why would they put in extra work for you?
You had that item for all these years, you worn it as much as you liked.

Things depreciate with time, you said it yourself.

the value was depreciated by the scope of use for expansions.
the transmog stayed the same in that regard. being consistently able to transmog.

i’m just saying thats what i am advocating for in this thread… not a refund…

Definitely not, the more you use it, the more boring it gets.

Why are you asking for extra pixels? For what? You got what you paid for.

If i buy a digital poster now and it comes as a package deal with something else in 9 years, i have no claim over getting extra pixels on it.

I had it and visualized it for 9 years as much as i liked.

why cant i? its just what i think would make the situation feel less aggravating

boring is subjective the example i gave is not subjective

I’m not really sure how an expansion is depreciated in value? Just because it no longer offers end game quality gear doesn’t mean the expansion doesn’t have merit. Exploring and questing through Pandaria is one of my favorite things to do and there’s still plenty of stuff I haven’t collected from there.

Because you have gotten the item you paid for, the exact item, at the time you paid for it.

Nope, you are proving it yourself, i don’t see you wearing any of the helms now.
So you already assign a certain boorishness to it.

compare mop in 2022 vs mop in 2012. the features which you can participate in within said expansion in the year 2022 where the expansion is left behind in time.

no no no. why cant i ask for extra pixels. thats the question.

i dont wear it on this character.
helm of winter for the frost dk.
Helm of fire for the shaman.
Helm of darkness for the warrior.

Just imagine - if the OP had invested that $30 into a select S&P 500 index fund instead, it might be worth $77 today! Wow.

Lesson learned, OP. Video game “exclusives” rarely stay exclusive, and prices for pixels tend to go down over time - one way or the other.

very true. many lessons where learned today.

Because you then need to pay for the extra pixels ofc.

Sounds like your choice, it’s not worth it to mog on other characters?
The more characters you wear it on, the more value you get out of your purchase!
See? You can increase its value today, so go and mog them helms asap on all your alts.

oh i cant even ask the question due to that? fun.

You asked the question though.

I answered that you need to pay for the extra pixels.

Those extra pixels don’t exist now, Blizzard would have to assign someone to make them.
Which costs time, which is money, because that time could be spent on something else.

And they won’t do it without having a predicted profit, ofc.

oh i didnt ask for your answer. i asked " why cant i ask for extra pixles ?"

You still have them. No one took them away. Thus, this doesn’t affect you…

money vs free. im tired.
short answers only for now.

You can “ask” in the sense that you literally can.
You can’t really ask them in good faith that they’ll actually give them to you, or do you like exercises in futility?

Go ahead and ask them for an in-game lambo as well, i’m sure they’ll get right on it! /s
