I'm just going to say it. Mythic+ is and at its core, fundamentally a mistake, and anti WoW

he wants to ruin m+ for others. Full stop.

The M+ timer limits the amount of bloodlusts that can be done within a run before the timer runs out. You won’t have bloodlust for every boss anyway. The same with the death count.

Frankly if these are the objections, I think we’d be looking very good to try M+ with no timers next expansion if Blizz wants to try it.

Except for people who want to complete, they can lust every single trash pack.

The timer is optional if you just want completion.

I’ve been in longer than one hour mist keys.

That’s fixable. Once the death count is up, remove the blood lust limit. Easy fix.

I want the gilded achievement from vault. Need the legs.
I don’t care enough to minmax the game.
I play games to have fun. To chill out and afk my head while i mess around. What I want is to have fun.

So… why remove the timer then?

The main reason people argue for removal is so that they can stop failing when they currently do.

They assume with a death counter that things will be easier.

False. People who want to chill and have fun don’t want to ruin content for other people.

Fail to time? Your key falls. You gotta get it back up to 10 to give it another go. Too bad!

We already told you why we’d prefer a death count over a timer.

Sounds to me you’re out of problems to raise.

The fastest bricked keys are the ones where there’s 10-15 deaths before first boss, so I too am curious what these brainiacs are getting at.

And if a death counter was in place of a timer, it’s the same thing. Failure by another metric.

Then you wouldn’t be raiding mythic or doing keys where rewards end.

Go do a one hour heroic dungeon with your friends or something. And /say every single ability that you use.

The same people will be complaining again because they haven’t thought things through.

If you look, this was my first season fully back since legion. I regret my descision.

That’s fine. You can quietly leave again.

We did think it through and have concluded that it’d be more fun.

You make zero sense man. Go play delves, go play classic, heck go to follower dungeons and afk while they do the whole thing for you, coming into discussions to just crap on a game mode just because you don’t like it is just so unbelievably cringe I’d say you were trolling if you weren’t just outright mediocre at the game.

Good luck with whatever BS your mind comes up next.

/waves hands. This is my reason for not investing in the mode

The only way a death counter will be accepted by the masses is if it’s irrelevant. And if it is irrelevant, why have it?

I’m willing to have say a death count of 20, and the game forcibly boots you out upon hitting zero.

What you’re looking for is Delves, where there is a death counter and no timer.
You have your solution already easy-baked into this game.

Oh no, I’m a median player who wants the game to appeal to the median player. eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep!

I think modes I don’t like and I don’t find fun… aren’t likeable, and aren’t fun!
The horror!

???

I’m actually not looking for delves.
